Calendar

I'm adopting the Tapani Sector calendar naming for months, because it's cooler than "Month 1". The structure of the Galactic Standard Calendar is as follows:

• 368 days=1 year
• 60 seconds=1 minute
• 60 minutes=1 hour
• 24 hours=1 day
• 5 days=1 week
• 7 weeks=1 month
• 35 days=1 month
• 10 months + 3 festival weeks + 3 holiday days=1 year

Each day is named:

• Day 1: Atunda
• Day 2: Katunda
• Day 3: Satunda
• Day 4: Datunda
• Day 5: Natunda

The months, holidays, and festival weeks are structured as follows:

• Month 1: Elona
• Month 2: Kelona
• Holiday 1: Republic Day
• Month 3: Selona
• Festival Week 1: The Festival of Stars. It is marked by vacations.
• Month 4: Telona
• Month 5: Nelona
• Holiday 2: Labor Day
• Month 6: Helona
• Festival Week 2: The Festival of Life. It is marked by parties, get-togethers, and gift-giving.
• Month 7: Melona
• Month 8: Yelona
• Holiday 3: Supreme Chancellor's Day
• Month 9: Relona
• Month 10: Welona
• Festival Week 3: New Year Fete Week

Galaxy Map

I am going to use a combination of maps for purposes of determining planet locations and travel times. There is no definitive map of the Star Wars galaxy, so I am going to use my best judgement from canon and fan-generated content.

Some general rules:

• Using trade routes/hyperspace lanes cut travel times considerably (half)
• Uncharted routes require astrogation rolls (even if an astromech is performing it) and travel time is doubled
• Astrogation rolls can affect travel time
• Charted routes don't need to be rolled, but can be if you want to make an attempt at shortening the route

  • Trades routes used: Daragon Trail, Gordian Reach - cut travel time in half
  • Total travel time: 36 hours
• Yavin IV (Gordian Reach, Outer Rim) to Csilla (Chiss Ascendancy, Unknown Regions)
  • Hyperlane travel to Expansion Region travel time: 24 hours
  • Travel time to Unknown Regions: 48 hours
  • Travel time to Csilla: 36 hours
  • Total travel time: 108 hours (4.5 days)
• Roche Asteroid Field (Mid Rim) to Unknown Regions
  • Mid Rim travel time: 36 hours
