Final Fantasy Tactics Summer 2009 Playthrough
Being that this is my favorite RPG of all time, I've repeated its playthrough no small number of times. Stricken with the urge to do so yet again, I set out this summer to complete Final Fantasy Tactics once more.
I'm playing the PSP Edition, Final Fantasy Tactics: War of the Lions. The new translation is excellent, and I'm looking forward to experimenting with builds using the new classes. My main objectives for this run are twofold:
1.) Complete the game with as little leveling as possible - Ideally, no random battles at all.
2.) Achieve 100% completion. With new items, jobs, and wonders in this edition, I can no longer say I've done everything there is to do in FFT. I intend to right that wrong. This includes completing all errands, mastering all job classes for 5 main characters, obtaining all items legitimately, obtaining all artifacts, and completing all Melee and Rendezvous missions.
Progress
As it stands, I'm at the beginning of Chapter 2 having done no random battles. I don't quite remember what my layout has been up to this point, but from here on out, I'm going to catalog my party's progress through each of the story's battles (and random battles, if, regretfully, they become necessary to advance).
- Story battle 10: Dorter Trade City
- Ramza: Level 5, Squire, Secondary Ability: Black Magicks, Reaction Ability: Counter Tackle, Support Ability: JP Boost, Move Ability: None

- Crestian: Level 4, Archer, Secondary Ability: Items, Reaction Ability None, Support Ability: JP Boost, Move Ability: None
