This is a concise, chronological list of the events involving The Grass Spider's organization and members.

Important Dates and Seasons

• Descending Fire, Ascending Air and Resplendent Air are the Autumn months. Descending Fire is the hottest month of the year.
• Descending Air, Ascending Water and Resplendent Water are the Winter months. Ascending Water is the coldest month of the year.
• Descending Water, Ascending Earth and Resplendent Earth are the Spring months.
• Descending Earth, Ascending Wood and Resplendent Wood comprise the growing season.
• Descending Wood, Ascending Fire and Resplendent Fire are the Summer months.

Realm Year 757

• Opal's childhood on The Range Homes ends as she becomes a made member of The Grass Spiders at age 15, 7 years after arriving as a kidnapped child acrobat. Opal: How I Became Grass Spider

Realm Year 763

• The Scarlet Empresses Disappears and the Jade Prison is broken, returning the solar exalted to the world. The Time of Tumult begins.

Realm Year 764

• Fay's not so glamorous arrival in Necharra.

Realm Year 765

Ascending Earth

• Fay kills for the first time and decides to become an assassin. Necharra: Part Two

Descending Earth

• Atlas is killed while undertaking an extremely rare solo mission, the Order is forced to regroup with the unexpected death of such a significant member. Tiamat is promoted to join The Harvestmen and The One-Eyed Queen of Silk and Lace joins The Grass Spiders.
• The Grass Spider's all gather in Sijian for the funeral of their fallen comrade, explored through the eyes of Ryn in conversation with Thanatos and Libintina. The Passing of a Titan

Realm Year 767

Ascending Air 1

• Ash seizes his inheritance, stealing The Geronimo, in grand fashion in an event that leaves his family murdered and his home destroyed. The event drew the attention of The Grass Spider's and earned Ash his new title. Blood Runs Too Deep

Realm Year 768

Descending Air 27

• Mesa's destruction of a Nexus Opera House is enough to convince Anton he has the makings of A Grass Spider. Then again, if Anton had known it was all an accident... Mesa: How I Became Grass Spider

Ascending Water 4

• Opal and Naru discuss the state of their relationship and Creation as a whole, the morning after one of their infamous make ups. Sign of the Times

Ascending Earth 13

• Ash performs his notorious bird-drop assassination in a Nexus Theater while recruiting Tick-Tock to join his crew aboard The Geronimo. Soon after Tiamat catches up to Ash and Ash joins The Grass Spiders. Ash: How I Became Grass Spider

Descending Fire 18

• Ash & Opal perform one of their last assassinations as recruits rather than Circle-Mates, which of course doesn't go according to plan and Opal continues her education in just how unpredictable her life is about to become. Beautiful Sin

Ascending Fire 2

• Zealot of Iconoclastic Virtue's year long audition comes to a close and as Gyoki formally invites him to join The Grass Spiders. Zealot: How I Became Grass Spider

Calibration 05

• The Circle with No Name is formally bonded as a Sworn Brotherhood, the ritual is performed by Samsara, notable due to the rarity of her participation in such events. Chapter 1 begins.

Realm Year 769

Ascending Air 6 - 8

• The Circle with No Name completes their first high profile assassination as a Circle, though all of the members already have their legs and have worked together in some capacity prior. Mission 1: Grand Funk Railroad

Ascending Water 3

• Mesa wakes up to an unexpected yet not so unusual morning of combat, bacon, and coffee. Nothing but An Average Morning for a Grass Spider.

Descending Water 13

• Mesa and Ash take part in avenging Atlas' death, however the encounter leaves Mesa rattled and asking questions. It turns out to be only The Beginning.

Ascending Water 14 - Resplendent Water 1

• The Circle with No Name's reputation grows among The Order as they successfully pull off a Two-Team, Two-Location mission with even more flair and improvisation than their previous missions. Some would claim it was a little... rash. Mission 2: Big Trouble in Little Nexus

Resplendent Water 17 - 20

• The Circle with No Name flexes their literal muscles in an assassination that requires them to utilize their often maligned old school assassination techniques, such as actually killing someone. Mission 3: Way of the Intercepting Fist

Ascending Earth 3

• Ash receives a lecture from Ravenous Moon, Waning Heart on the pointlessness of his nightly self-indulgent activities, and Ash makes it clear that he is already well aware of their fleeting satisfaction, leaving Moon to ponder why exactly he still does it. Enjoy The Silence

Resplendent Earth 27 - Descending Earth 5

• The Circle with No Name executes their half of an important assassination in view of the three most powerful forces in the Scavenger Lands; The Realm, Lookshy, and The Silver Pact. Amazingly they do so without alerting anyone to their involvement. Mission 4: Among the Masses

Ascending Wood 17

• Mesa and Opal converse and bicker, while Rizuka stitches up Opal's arm after a typically late night on the job. Just An Average Night for The Grass Spiders.

Descending Wood 13 - Descending Wood 26

• The Circle with No Name plays to their individual strengths to achieve an acceptable outcome on by far the most complicated and challenging mission of their first year as a Circle. However, The Circle comes out anything but unscathed as they encounter the first strands of a web that will take years to uncover, and longer to decipher. Mission 5: Ransom for the Impious

Ascending Fire 8 - 9

• The Geronimo goes down during an escape gone wrong and both captain and co-captain go down with the ship. Moon is badly hurt in the crash, and Rizuka makes an interesting discovery while tending the injuries of her diminutive, winged patient. The Real Deal

Realm Year 770

Resplendent Air 9

• Rizuka and Oak reminisce and discuss their current place in The Order over a cup of spiked coffee in Rizuka's Range Home. Old School

Descending Air 6 - 13

• The Circle with No Name dabbles in the Dark Arts as they assassinate a rebellion leader, in order to help the rebellion, within the City-State of Thorns. Mission 6: Black Magic Woman

Resplendent Water 28 - Descending Water 11

• The Circle with No Name spends their winter in The South to assassinate their first Celestial Exalted mark, as expected the challenge leaves the Circle licking their wounds. Mission 7: Thus Spake the Flameslinger

Resplendent Earth 18 - Resplendent Earth 22

• The Circle with No Name stages a bit of Dream-Theater in order to save a life, rather than take one. Mission 8: Sleep with One Eye Open

Descending Wood 24

• On the eve of The Order's most important mission of this generation, the two oldest members of The Order continue their discussion of The Order's former and current status over a glass of liquor. Closing Time

Descending Wood 25 - Ascending Fire 5

• The Circle with No Name takes part in their largest mission yet, and first internal hit, involving a large part of The Order and even one of The Three Fiends; but even with those considerable resources The Order is forced to abort The Mission without completing it. None the less The Order hardly comes out empty handed. Mission 9: He Who Is Without Sin (Chapter 1 Finale)

Realm Year 775

• Five Years after the events of Mission 9, a period which was predominantly business as usual for The Order, The Veil War formally begins.

Realm Year 776

Resplendent Fire 19

• Gyoki pays a visit to Ash at his manse away from The Range Homes, where Ash has been spending increasingly large amounts of time. Afterwards Ash is a bit less absent in his duties as a Grass Spider. A Visit to the Waterfall Pagoda

Realm Year 777

• Two years into The Veil War, most conflict doesn't involve members of either organization, but the rivalry between the two grows more fierce. Chapter 2 begins.

Resplendent Air 8 - 14

• At the height of The Veil War, The Circle with No Name travels to Lookshy to help an ally and hurt The White Veil Society in one fell swoop. The message is sent load and clear as their target is killed within a burning building in Lookshy's City Center, yet there is no trace of Grass Spider involvement. Mission 10: A Proper Sendoff

Resplendent Water 25

• After a restless night in his manse, Ash decides to decides to start taking his responsibilities more seriously, even if that means placing more trust in those around him. Down to Business

Descending Water 4

• Ash begins the process of shifting his business into the hands of his crew, allowing him to focus on The Order for once, in Lookshy. Ash and Tick-Tock discuss the necessity of the change before Ash passes over his business as a Scavenger Lord in his beloved Lookshy to her. Down to Business, Chapter 1

Descending Earth 18

• Ash spends a week with Koza at his plantation in Great Forks, the trip culminates in Koza returning to the slave market she was sold in as a child and facing the cold reality that the slave business hasn't gone anywhere and like any other system in Creation it has it's uses. Down to Business, Chapter 3

Resplendent Fire 25

• Ash introduces Silk to his contact in The West, Alric Vashir, who he delivers weapons to in exchange for information that some in The Order consider to be valuable. Down to Business, Chapter 6

Descending Fire 19 - 22

• The Circle with No Name goes to Chiaroscuro and enter's the Ironclad Tournament in order to perform a bit of espionage on The White Veil Society after receiving some insider information. The group literally flies away with a prized chest, an exalt of unknown origins, and notorious traitor Orchid in tow. Mission 11: The Rat that Caught the Canary

Realm Year 778

Resplendent Air 13 - 18

• Opal travels to the outskirts of Lookshy in pursuit of Ruol after The Range Homes are attacked and Naru is kidnapped by The White Veil Society. Opal makes an unsanctioned deal to swap Orchid for Naru, eventually using explosives to free Orchid from her prison in The Manse. A Foul Bargain

Resplendent Air 23

• Ash and The Geronimo are three weeks into a mission in the South, well off course and plan. Smelling a trap, Ash springs an overly elaborate, time consuming trap of his own which culminates in a party and its guests falling from The Geronimo towards their deaths. Ash is the only survivor thanks to Moon. The Hanged Man

Resplendent Air 27

• Opal reveals to Mesa the final verdict on her punishment from The Three Fiends as both Grass Spider's deal with their growing feelings towards each other and their ever more complicated lives. Pillow Talk
• Ash returns from his mission in the south still uninformed about the events within The Order during his absence. Rustung fills in the junior Fire Aspect, and Ash does not take it well... The Ten of Wands

Descending Water 4

• Karal Matsudo and Sesus Akida discuss a potential alliance between Lookshy and Nexus that might stand to benefit the both of them, however several inconvenient Councilmen stand in their way. Unable to deal with it themselves, The Grass Spiders serve as an elegant solution. Thugs, Killers, and Gangsters

Ascending Earth 6 - 14

• The Circle with No Name travels to Nexus on a mission and partial favor to Karal Matsudo to assassinate three members of The Council of Entities. The mission proves even more elaborate than expected and tests the groups extensive connections, skill, and experience dealing with Councilmen who are more than they seem. Mission 12: A Proper Introduction
  • Ascending Earth 9 - Opal's mental state continues to spiral, and Mesa finds that despite his good intentions he isn't much help. Fractured Fairy Tales
  • Ascending Earth 11 - With clear minds after a fresh kill, Opal and Ash have a candid conversation in the abandoned streets of Nexus. The Long Way Home

Ascending Earth 20

• Iron Shatters Oak & Naru team up to repair Zealot's powerful Shadow Walking Amulet which was damaged during the events of Mission 12. During the process they come to question the very nature of the device and how exactly Zealot acquired such an artifact. Black Sheep Wall

Descending Earth 3

• Oak, Queen, Bran Weylin, Cello, and Mercurial Carp Courier gather inside Oak's cabin to open a mysterious stolen box and discuss The Circle with No Name's knack for falling into important discoveries. Strawmen and The Red Herring

Descending Earth 8 - 11

• With Opal and Mesa on sabbatical, the remainder of The Circle with No Name travels west on a mission that turns out to be more of a recruitment with a payday. Mission 13: A Pearl Necklace
