Overworld
Overworld is the story of a group Celestial Exalts and their rise to power in the North. The story begins in the Realm satrapy of Frostgate, a small region in the central North, several hundred miles west of Gethamane. A loose alliance between two Solars, one Sun King Seneschal Lunar, and an honorable dragon-blooded mercenary captain proves to be the end of the local governor's iron grip on the people of Covenant.

Places
A list of locations that have played a particular part in the storyline, obviously not every location within the Chronicle will be mentioned.
- Frostgate - A small Realm satrapy in the central North, carved out by the Empress for reasons unknown.
- Covenant - The capital of Frostgate; the local satrap makes his seat here, and rules the city with an iron first.
- Concordia - New Covenant's sister city is the smallest of the trio of cities that make up the new territory of Frostgate, Concordia is home to a small mining and craftsmen community for those who stay away from the larger New Covenant as well as a warehouse and storage center for the territory.
- New Covenant - The capital of Frostgate turns over a new leaf under new Solar rulership and looks to become a growing power in the North.
- Orok's Basin - Frostgate's port city on the coast of The White Sea is the second largest city in Frostgate and serves as the trading center for the territory.
- Wayland - Formerly the smallest city in Frostgate, it was destroyed during the revolution against The Realm and now stands as a monument to Frostgate's freedom.
