Hearthstone - Primary

  • Manse - The Academy of Athena'Ra: The manse of dazzling white marble and glistening gold sits atop of a solid marble plateau that rises above the forest in the Hundred Kingdoms. Numerous buildings, parks, amphitheaters, and forums were carved into the marble, and a small palace sits at the very center of the complex. The buildings feature a classical architectural style with mixed indoor-outdoor spaces, large pillars, and statues of long forgotten heroes. The buildings contain a variety of libraries, studies, galleries, and workshops along with sleeping chambers, kitchens, and other areas that make life possible. The facilities provide a three die bonus to ventures involving intellectual pursuit and education. (Inspiration: Ancient Athens)
  • Hearthstone - The Mind Stone: While in possession: The stone creates a perfect record of everything that the bearer perceives with their senses. These records can be either reviewed, or re-lived, at the bearer's pleasure.
    • Evocation - Mind Meld: The bearer can hold the gem against another's skin and give them access to one of these memories. The bearer decides which memories are available and can block certain times and senses. The bearer can not force these memories on a target.


Resources - Secondary

  • Veil has substantial investments in a number of bookshops, schools, and scavenging operations in Nathir. She is a fairly active investor in her interests in Nathir. She maintains a small number of investments in Great Forks and Nexus in operations that have provided steady income for years. She is a passive investor in these ventures.
  • Veil remains one estate and three apartments. Her primary residence is an estate between Nathir and her manse. It offers a level of opulence in the 100 kingdoms only surpassed by the royal palaces. A couple dozen servants are needed to maintain the grounds, run the kitchen, make repairs, clean, and see to the needs of the mistress and her guests. The grounds include a stable full of prize horses and a small pack of hunting dogs. She regularly hosts emissaries, business partners, and others dinners, parties, and hunts.
  • Veil maintains an apartment in Nathir for when she is in the city and does not want to make the trip back to her estate. The apartment has a single servant to maintain it and provide services when the mistress is there. She has similar apartments in Great Forks and Nexus because her investments there require her irregular visits.
  • Veil has two servants that travel with her. The first is her lady's maid who makes arrangements, handles minor financial transactions, helps with dressing, etc. The second is the coachman that handles her carriage and acts as a footman as well.
  • When making a check involving money, such as bribing or haggling, add rating in extra dice.
