Piece of Ship

The Dirge once again finds itself being pursued by Imperial TIE Fighters, this time with an accompaniment of Z-95 Headhunters. Once again, The Dirge shoots down the pursuers, while taking more damage to the ship, but they do manage to escape the ice-planet Mygeeto. Though they're not in agreement, they decide to head directly for Sernpidal. When they arrive they have a message from Randyl Khan, giving them a mission to pick up a man named Astarri Flyn from Ord Mantell and deliver him to Dantooine. Explaining that they're a ways from Ord Mantell, Randyl gives them 5 days to return to Ord Mantell and start their mission.

Jet gives Nexu 6 hours on Sernpidal to find Janos Holgor, the shipdealer Quin Reed sent them to, who supposedly sold a ship to Boskone. Meanwhile, Jet and Cerberus fence the gear they took from the Imperials for a modest price. Nexu is eventually able to find Janos' location, a shadowport in Sernpidal's capital city, where she manages to force her way into a meeting with the overlord of the shadowport. To her frustration, she finds that Janos is neither cooperative nor easily intimidated, though he makes her a job offer in exchange for the information she seeks, she has no time to work for the info, nor credits to purchase it.

When she returns to The Dirge, dejected, Jet offers to help and reveals they have more time than originally expected. The crew returns to Janos' shadowport, and Jet gets and audience with Janos as a prospective buyer. Though he is more persuasive than Nexu, he ends up needing to agree to deliver an unknown package to Coruscant in exchange for the information once their mission is done.

Out of time the crew heads back to Ord Mantell, to start their mission for The Alliance. They dock at the familiar spaceport on Ord Mantell, but do not encounter Raena in their short stay. They perform some hasty ship repairs before meeting up with Astarri Flyn and his companions, a Rodian and two humans, who are all quite well equipped for their "camping" trip on Dantooine.
