Objectives
Neutralize Seventh Legion Embassy
Information
- Lookshy Embassy is on the outside of the Publica. 20 People in 7th Legion Embassy. Ambassador (DB), Assistant Ambassador (DB), Bodyguard (DB), 2 scribes, and 15 guards.
- The Barrat-Su family opposes outsider influence. Vallux family is opposed to outsiders, not as strongly as Barrat-Su. Ali-Beth family supports outsiders. House Wathustret, the most powerful house, favors outsiders. Is culturally tied to 7th Legion through ancestry, as strong influence on society.
- Lookshy shipments arrive every 3 months on the island. (Most recent shipment arrived on RF9) Illegal drugs being imported on these shipments with Lookshy's help by The Easterner, who is a Guild representative.
- On Descending Fire 4 the Ambassador from The 7th Legion agrees to peacefully leave Mount Meta with all of his representatives, ending the trade agreement and all friendly agreements between the two nations.
Progress
- Discovered that The Easterner is shipping illegal drugs into Mount Meta with Lookshy's help with their regular shipments. Lethe has begun to poison members of the working class to frame drug overdose as the cause, planning to show that Lookshy is indirectly responsible for the overdoses.
- A rooftop chase through the slums of Tushipal with the thieves guild leads the group to the thieves guild hideout. During their break in to the hideout they discover and ambush The Easterner who had been sleeping there and kill him. The three story apartment complex is burned to the ground and the group loots his Jade Smashfist.
- Meeting with Matsuo, disguised as The Easterner, outside of the city walls. Fight between parties ensues, archers atop the wall nearly kill Archon, but all witnesses are killed and Matsuo is captured for questioning and gives up information mostly about the thieves guild.
- The group hunts down and murders Black Dog, second in command of the thieves guild, who without either of it's leaders is unable to function.
- Vale has befriended Barrat-Su Momiji, whose son, Kobayashi sits on the council for the Barrat-Su family. Kobayashi is head of the investigation division looking into outsiders and strange happenings on the island.
- Vale & Archon stole 2 Lookshy guard uniforms and have gone to village disguised as guards to demand tribute and commit open murder on the defenseless villagers, framing Lookshy for the acts. (Frank the Tank and Bertha) These attacks on villages around Tushipal becomes a patern under the ruse that the 2 Lookshy guards have gone rogue.
- Vale, disguised as Frank the Tank, attacks the city burning as he (she) goes to draw attention of the investigation. Pursued by 2 Dragon Bloods, Vale kills both and loots a Red Jade Reaper Daiklave. Fails to stop the investigation, but draws immediate attention to the problem of rogue Lookshy guards. Vale and Lethe discover and investigative crew drawing close to their cave after a village killing. Ambush the investigators and kill everyone, framing Frank the Tank for the assaults by branding the leader with Matsuo's ring and forging the investigative documents. Loot Jade Reaver Daiklave.
- The group lures Kobayashi and the 7th Legion Ambassador out of the city to meet unknowingly, the tense confrontation between two parties breaks into combat with the 7th Legion Ambassador eventually killing Kobayashi and his investigative team, while the Ambassador's own bodyguard is also slain. In the city at this time House Ali-Beth is tipped off by the group, under guise of the Guild, that Matsuo's body is buried on the embassy's grounds. Archon used necromancy to discreetly bury Matsuo's head in the courtyard, which House Ali-Beth discovers. House Ali-Beth arrests the Assistant Ambassador and discovers that the Ambassador, who is to be quarantined inside the embassy is missing. During this chaos Vale sneaks into the embassy, via rooftop and plants Matsuo's ring in the locked drawer of the Ambassador's desk. When the Ambassador returns from his meeting with Kobayashi he finds the city waiting for him, with no other choice he agrees to peacefully leave the island.
Neutralize the Goddess, Onibala
Information
- The Vallux family has very close ties to the Onibala religion, and due to fear of outside religious influence is most likely to support Barrat-Su against outsiders.
- High Priestess Amira will give service in Tushipal on AF 28, and will continue to be in the capital for the month of Resplendent Fire.
- Surrounding villages each appear to have temple to Goddess.

- DF 22 Vale and Archon enter the Temple as Monks, Lethe sneaks up the cliff edge. Attack Priestess, Brother, and 4 monks on the 3rd floor of the Temple. Battle between both parties does a lot of damage and eventually her brother is bested and the five corpses along with a captured Priestess Amira are pulled into Archon's portal to the Underworld. (Loot: Jade Full Plate & Jade Grand Goremaul)
- Cerulean Waterfall uses her artifact to channel essence through Priestess Amira, captured in the Deathlord's Underworld Palace, and summon the Goddess Onibala into the underworld to do battle with the Deathknights. Prepared for battle the 3 deathknights, along with a large force of Archon's hungry ghosts and zombies wage war on the summoned Goddess. - Though the Hawkmen are defeated by the well trained aerial units of Mount Meta and Lethe is forced to join the battle from the ground, Vale leads an aerial unit of War Ghosts on reanimated Giant Hawks to defeat Mount Meta's aerial army.
- Tyrant and Lethe lead a ground invasion of the Roc den in the aerie, taking control before any Rocs are able to take flight.
Open Shadowland
Information
- Village 2 days north of Tushipal is responsible for cremating all bodies on the island.
- During Calibration the city and many villages gather together to celebrate in Tushipal.
- Archon crafts Tunnelers from the arms of corpses that can be linked together to quickly create a tunnel from the existing Shadowland in the mines to the City.
Progress
- Attacks by Frank the Tank and Bertha have driven additional villagers into Tushipal, while simultaneously drawing more guards away from it.
- Staged attacks by Hawkmen at villages and garrisons have driven additional villagers into Tushipal, while simultaneously drawing more guards away from it.
- Continued attacks along the outskirts of the island by Hawkmen, or disguised as such, have continued to drive more residents into the city and rally more Hawkmen to the Abyssal cause.
- Tunnel from Shadowland outside the city will reach the city on Ascending Air 14.
- The tunnel from the Shadowland outside of the city is completed on Ascending Air 14 and gives the abyssal army multiple points of entry into the city for the invasion. Though the small shadowland and tunnel access prevents any war machines from joining the abyssal cause, this is compensated for by launching the attack from inside the city (at the church) at the same time as within the Aerie.
- Both points of entry are hosts to a slaughter of the nearby inhabitants of the city, as well as battle grounds for the invasion. Casualties are in the thousands and both sites will likely quickly become Shadowlands inside the City. Under the care of a Deathlord the whole city, and likely the island will become one large, linked Shadowland.
Help the Invasion
Information
- Shadowland Cave is approximately 45 min walk outside of Tushipal, a tunnel is constructed linking the Shdowland to the city with entry points at the Church as well as the Aerie.
- Group uses abandoned blacksmith shop as small base of operations just outside city walls.
Progress
- Necrotech tunnelers are digging a tunnel between the Shadowland Cave and city. Tunnel is completed on Ascending Air 14, giving the abyssal army a portal into creation and a means of attacking the city.
- The Invasion begins on the morning of Ascending Air 15.
- Archon begins the assault by emerging from the floor of the Church during the height of their religious service, all in attendance are slaughtered by the undead horde and his necrotech creations. His army fortifies what is left of the First Age construction and stages this as their battle ground against the retaliation from Mount Meta's army. The response is stiff, 5 ground units and 1 aerial unit launch their attack on Archon and put the army on their heels.
- Vale leads a small force of War Ghosts, mounted on reanimated Giant Hawks and engages the units attacking Archon.
- Tyrant leads his army in an attack at The Aerie, the military stronghold of Tushipal and all of Mount Meta. With such a strong force attacking Archon at the Church the remaining forces are quickly crushed by Tyrants large undead army. Aerial units respond and launch their attack on Tyrant who is unprepared to deal with the aerial threats.
- The Hakwmen tribe lead by a native, Jade Rose, and Lethe launch their assault on the aerial units attacking Tyrant. Though they are out numbered and undertrained they engage the aerial units until Vale's unit arrives as reinforcements.
- Lethe joins with Tyrants ground forces after the Hawkmen tribe is defeated and the army begins their march on The Roc nest. With no organized force able to resist the army they easily conquer the Aerie and prevent and Rocs from taking flight.
- Vale is able to overcome the superior numbers of aerial units with supernatural force and defeats the remaining Mount Meta Hawkriders.
- Archon's army eventually falls after being outnumbered for too long without reinforcements on the ground. When Vale returns from combat with the Hawkriders Archon is missing and the remaining ground force is marching on the Aerie.
- The remaining ground force is too depleted to pose a serious threat to Tyrants army who quickly destroys them while holding the Aerie.
- Vale and Lethe lead a search to find Archon, who has been captured by a Dragon-Blooded captain who led the ground forces of Mount Meta. Hoping to interrogate the unconscious abyssal the Dragon-Blood held Archon at the tower that previously housed Mount Meta's Hawkmen. Lethe tracks them down and Vale offers to duel the captain and spare his remaining men should he lose. Vale cuts the captain down in one strike and lets her War Ghosts kill and consume the captain's remaining men.
- With the military quickly destroyed including the societies leadership in the Hawkriders, the city itself surrenders to Deathlord control by nightfall of Ascending Air 15.
