Background
Makoto Seta is an incredibly ancient and powerful dragon-blood, who's age and power more closely resemble Gyoki than any of The Grass Spiders. Now an independent wandering Monk in the far East he was once a powerful and respected Monk within the Immaculate Order, a position he left long ago for a life of independence. At some point long ago he must have discovered the truth about the Immaculate Order as he now loathes the organization he formerly devoted his life to. Despite this he still seeks to honor The Great Elemental Dragons as best he can for the remainder of his lengthy life, though he now accepts the truth about the Courts of Yu-Shan. He no longer serves a master or cause, only seeking to atone for centuries of service to a heretical religion. Despite this he isn't one to preach, rather to converse and guide another to their own personal path of enlightenment. In this way he hopes to teach those he advises to find their own path to enlightenment, just as he hopes to discover his own.
Seta is clearly a well bred Dragon-Blood with a tangled mass of vines for hair and hard, bark-like skin, and his bones creak like the branches of the forest moaning in the wind. Further adding to his legend and appearance was his use of a powerful charm that fused his essence with that of a powerful wood elemental. Seta fused with a surprisingly peaceful King of the Wood who was destined to be overthrown, though his role in the elemental courts was in danger the King of the Wood couldn't care. He desired to see the lands outside of his forest, for he was naturally more inquisitive than he was protective. This made him ill suited for his position as he was bound to the forest where he was king; however by fusing his essence with Seta he was able to leave his forest. As long as their essences remain fused the King of the Wood can continue to live, but if their essences were ever separated it would immediately perish. This fusion left Seta with some unique character traits, but granted him access to powerful spirit abilities.
Seta is a powerful and wise martial artist, though he rather dislikes physical combat these days, it has made him no less effective at it. He has mastered The Wood Dragon Style of Immaculate Martial Arts as well as multiple other Celestial and Terrestrial styles, his primary weapon is a powerful bow which he wields with unparalleled skill. So far he has not imparted anything more than wisdom to the Grass Spiders, though it is not completely foolish to think he might serve as a mentor to a student he found suitable. Seta is almost always willing to engage in an interesting conversation and is equally willing to generally help those in need, he especially seeks to help those who are lost and defend Creation from the forces of the Wyld. Seta has no use for material possessions, typically he seeks only polite and insightful conversation and the promise that his service might be repaid someday in exchange for assistance. Attempting to bribe or buy his assistance, especially in a matter that disagreed with his morals, would offend him greatly and if terribly unfortunate might even bring on his wrath.
