29 BBY: His younger brother, whose family nickname is Jet, is born on Devaron.
27 BBY: Both he and his brother are discovered to be force sensitive; family moves to Coruscant at the urging of a jedi master.
19 BBY: The Great Jedi Purge occurs. His younger brother is killed in the initial assault of the Jedi Temple on Coruscant. He and his family flee to Devaron, fearing for their safety. In a month's time, they were tracked down. He managed to escape, but his family was not so lucky. He flees to Hutt Space and begins a descent into the underworld, using his natural charisma to make friends and learn the tricks of the trade. He discards his old name and identity and begins to go by "Jet" to honor his brother's memory.
