Dr. Hideki Tonogawa

Dr. Tonogawa was a leading nuclear scientist and researcher at Shiawase Atomics' Drakes Nuclear Power Station. He studied at UC Berkeley and was a student of Dr. Kefeng Yau, he was rescued from a kidnapping by F.A.T.E. in Session 1: The Missing Scientist.

In Session 15: Reactor No. 1, Dr. Yau negotiated with Dr. Hideki Tonogawa and was able to convince him to secure 5 full-access employee security badges to the Drakes Bay Nuclear Power Station. Leading up to F.A.T.E.'s assault on Drakes Bay, J.P. Redman issued the order to Doc to find and kill Dr. Tonogawa. It was a tough decision, as Tonogawa was a friend of Dr. Yau and was helping F.A.T.E. secure vital security clearances. J.P. ultimately decided that Tonogawa knew too much about the dangerous research at the facility and his death would set Shiawase back even further, perhaps even forcing them to abandon the research altogether.

During the chaos that ensued later that session, Doc tracked down Tonogawa, who was hiding under a table in a nearby conference room during the earthquake. He dragged Hideki from the conference room to the bathroom, knocked him unconscious, and shot him in the head, killing him instantly.
