A Devaronian, a Nautolan, and a Defel Walk into a Bar

The crew jumped out of hyperspace at Ord Mantell, and quickly found a spaceport in the capital city to land at. Once they arrived they met with a spaceport administrator named Raena Coral, who Jet unsuccessfully hit on. They negotiated for the repairs The Dirge needed, and paid upfront for the repairs which Cerberus helped perform. Raena suggested they keep themselves busy while waiting for repairs, telling them of a troublesome shipjacker in the area, she informs them that not only is there a bounty on his head, but if they catch him she would waive the cost of their repairs.

Jet, motivated by the chance to impress Raena, and Nexu by the promise of additional credits decided they would try their hand at solving it. They were directed first to the public security office at the spaceport, but found the public workers were not overly helpful. They hit the streets in search for the city's large shadowports, but instead found a smaller and more discreet shadowport attached to a cantina.

Jet is unable to get much help from a group of smugglers in the catina, so Jet and Nexu fake a fight which causes a large enough disruption for Nexu to steal the captain's datapad. They are thrown out of the bar for starting a fight, and as they exit quickly realize they are being followed. Nexu slips into an ally and quickly dispatches the smuggler tracking her, when Jet goes into the same ally they both jump the remaining smuggler. Finding him tight-lipped, they dispatch the second smuggler and take both data pads. Contacting the captain over the comlink, they get the name of a popular underworld bar where Doja's associates frequent.

After successfully hacking the two stolen datapads, they get the technical specifications of the smugglers ship which matches the basic info of one of the stolen ships. They also get several black market locations that the smuggler crew operated out of. The group goes first to the bar which the captain named to them, which they find to be a popular underworld nightclub. The three members searched for signs of the captain or Doja, surprisingly Cerberus is able to secure the group a meeting with The Hutt.

In The Hutt's backroom, the group fears they've gotten in over their head, but as they talk to Doja and his right-hand man Cormin Tachi, things start to turn their direction. Doja interjects that if they bring him the smuggler captain's ship, he would consider giving them additional work. With no other choice, the group accepts.

Returning to the small shadowport from earlier, they break into the docking bay secretly and start breaking into the ship, when they realize the crew is on board. Nexu and Cerberus storm up the ramp and battle with the smugglers hired muscle, while Jet duels with the captain across the top of the ship. Though slightly damaged, the crew of The Dirge is victorious and is able to quickly fly the ship out of the port and deliver it to Doja. Cormin meets them, and congratulates their success, giving them a com frequency for next time they are looking for work.

Back at their own ship, they inform Raena they have captured the shipjacker. Raena brings planetary security with her to see the body, but without possession of the stolen ship the crew has minimal evidence to link the dead body to the shipjackings. Authorities say they will investigate their findings, and if the investigation is closed contact them with the bounty. Though Jet objects, they don't budge and take the body to conclude their investigation. Raena, perhaps pitying the crew tells them that she will honor her offer to waive the repair fees for their efforts.
