Background

Seth was originally from the village under Chanta where he protected the village and its people from wyld and barbarian threats, but also from the people above. Seth spent his younger years in the village but soon realized his presence brought just as much threat as it prevented. Worried he would eventually cause the destruction of his own village he fled, heading towards Nexus where he hoped to find a way to help his village without drawing the attention of the wyld hunt. There he met up with another young solar thief named Eden, starting with friendly rivalry the two eventually became friends. Seth and Eden soon teamed up and started to travel about creation together, gathering a bit of a following.

Eventually they would find their way to a small eastern village, tacking a group of wyld huntsmen. The dragon bloods attacked the village but as they did so Seth, Eden, and their band of thieves descended upon the huntsmen, saving the life of the solar they were after. The young villager named Esenius would join up with Seth and Eden in their travels who were involved in early training of the now legendary hero. The events following can be found in the details of The Zerund Conflict which would consume the deeds of Seth, and many others, until they met their final end.

Seth's own end is said to be a bit of a mystery, the last companion of Esenius to meet his end he survived numerous battles including the the attack upon the Imperial City. He traveled with Esenius to the crater of the Zerund, but upon their travel they met their final obstacle. A powerful mercenary employed by Cyrus, who bore a personal vendetta for Seth, engaged the duo before they could reach the crater. Seth fought his final battle against his greatest rival, allowing Esenius to go on to the crater, flaring essence and monumental craters marked the terrain of their battle but no sign of either man was ever heard from or seen again. Before his death Seth managed to preserve the Shardiron box, given to him by Eden, the unknown technique protected the box from magical harm or detection before revealing itself to Eiji, years later, with a message for it to be passed to a man named Kevik.

Personality

Seth processed a rambunctious personality that often suggested he would have preferred pure chaos of the order of creation. Known for his natural sense of curiosity that gave him a propensity for finding trouble, he faced the most dire of circumstances with a sarcastic grin. As if death itself had no change of restraining him. The often over the top self confidence led him astray on more than one occasion as he had a reputation for provoking fights and grudges he could not win, not to mention he seemed unable to turn down a good (or bad) gamble or competition. He treated life as a game and often commented as if he was keeping score, entering unspoken contests against companions and opponents alike. One such infamous contest with a foe, an Elemental Dragon, resulted in his apparent death. It seemed Seth had finally provoked a situation even he could not escape from as his lifeless body descended into the depths of the ocean. Left for dead so that his companions could escape, it was some time later that Seth returned without explanation how he escaped his death. Seth remained unwilling to speak of the event, only chuckling if it was brought up, speculation is that only Eden knew the true story and it died with them both. Whispered rumors sprung up here-and-there that Seth had made a deal with a deathlord, such rumors remain to this day spread by those who remain curious about the mysterious circumstances surrounding his death. Speculation also exists that Eden and Seth simply made up the story to boost their own, already infamous, reputations.
