This goes along with type/scale - Clone Wars era? Rebel Alliance era? New Republic/New Jedi Order era? My preference is the reverse order of that list, but I know there was a lot of interest in clone wars era so I am open to it. | This goes along with type/scale - Clone Wars era? Rebel Alliance era? I would totally be down for starting up a Star Wars storyline online if you want to storytell one. My system vote would pretty much follow yours exactly, preferring the new system and least wanting to do D20. Which probably rules D20 out completely. This would also be nice because as we work the system out online we can work out the kinks incase we ever want to play in session. We'll be familiar with the system. As far as they type/scale of the game... I like Cerberus a lot and would really like to play him. He works okay for any storyline from beginning character level to a medium power level probably. As far as the type of game, if it involves a crime syndicate it will probably work. Obviously the original space pirate idea would as well. Time period I think that New Republic/New Jedi era is the best, though I don't know a great deal about it so I'll let you guys decide when in the timeline we play. Dan, you mentioned having a jedi you wanted to play, I'd be fine with putting Cerberus aside for now and playing a jedi SL instead if we want to go that route. --[[User:FyreFly|FyreFly]] 14:54, 7 February 2009 (EST) |

Starting Over (again)
I'd really like to get back into a storytelling role, so I'd like to revive Star Wars as a wiki-based storyline. Part of my desire behind this is that I think this will help me write more online - particularly with Exalted. If I can get into the flow or writing for a Star Wars storyline I think I can carry that over to the other games.
A couple of points I'd like your opinion on.
System
I see it as 3 options - our own custom Revised System, D6, and D20, and that is the order of my preference. I think that our custom system is much more suited for online play as we won't bog down in-person sessions with questions about how the system works. We have plenty of time to figure that out offline.
Type/Scale of Game
Do you want to be peons in the universe or Generals leading armies? Do you want to be one of the 10 jedi in existence or one of thousands? I'm willing to go epic scale - You could be a large criminal organization. You could be an Imperial warlord wrangling with the other warlords for power. You can be one of the few remaining jedi, either Light or Sith.
Time Period
This goes along with type/scale - Clone Wars era? Rebel Alliance era? New Republic/New Jedi Order era? My preference is the reverse order of that list, but I know there was a lot of interest in clone wars era so I am open to it.
