Overworld is the story of four Celestial Exalts and their rise to power in the North. The story begins in the Realm satrapy of Frostgate, a small region in the central North, several hundred miles west of Gethamane. - Frostgate - A small Realm satrapy in the central North, carved out by the Empress for reasons unknown.
- Covenant - The capital of Frostgate; the local satrap makes his seat here, and rules the city with an iron first.

- Adamant Frost Lord - Full Moon Caste Lunar, played by Tony
- Hawk/White Leopard/He'll pretty much answer to any animal name you yell - Night Caste Solar, played by Drue
- Jitara - Full Moon Caste Lunar, played by Dan K.

Storyteller Characters
- Karina - No Moon Caste Lunar
- Ragara Dawendae - Imperial satrap of Frostgate; while once an influential man in house and Realm affairs, a loss in an unfortunate political conflict led to his appointment in Frostgate, far from the business of the Imperial City.
- Ferem Haraku - A Dragon-Blooded Cheraki mercenary, the captain of the guard Dawendae has hired to keep peace in the city.
- Kaliph - Something of a local legend, Kaliph is a rarely seen man with some significant connection to organized criminal affairs in the North; allegedly, his safehouse is in Convenant.
