Districts

Diamond District
The Diamond District is certainly the richest one in the city. The Satrap's palace (though modest by Realm standards, it is still impressive in size standing against most of the architecture in the city) is here, as well as the winter homes of his Four Advisors. The Diamond District carries the illusion of being extra tall -- It is built on an elevated slope in the land, and its buildings are usually at least three stories, and in many places, often more, as opposed to many other places in the city, where buildings rarely exceed three stories. There are no taverns; all residences here are privately owned. There are restaraunts and salons, though they are expensive, conspicuous, and at times, exclusive. It is the only area of the city where extra jade was spent in the name of luxury. Most of the city's Dragon-Blooded population has at least some sort of holding here. It is the only area of the city whose population is closely watched as a matter of course -- the satrap's guards keep him informed of who is near his seat of power.

Vorpal District
The most traditionally residential district in the city, it is at the bottom of the hill upon which Diamond District sits. Most of the city's permanent residents live here, though the amount of time they actually spend at their homes varies with the season and time of week.
