Willow Rose is a 2nd Coil Immaculate Monk who spends her time between The Palace Sublime and The Cloister of Wisdom, often spending time with students during her time at the Cloister of Wisdom. She takes a great interest in mentoring the students, but enjoys the larger gathering associated with it far less. Typically her classes rarely meet formally and are instead almost like year long scavenger hunts for the information and skills necessary to complete the course, the other instructors find her unique style helpful when looking to break up the sometimes overly regimented lives of the students.

Willow Rose was born into House Iselsi, her mother hails from the hidden line of Iselsi from Kirighast, her father is a rather unknown quality as she was conceived at a Cynis orgy. Willow Rose has never investigated who her father might be, and as far as she knows her father simply has no idea she was ever born. Willow Rose was slipped into Dynastic society as a lost egg from the south and the Realm footed the bill for her to attend the Cloister of Wisdom, at the time of the Scarlet Empresses reign it had jade for such worthy investments. Though the entire thing was orchestrated by her fallen House, she always felt a debt of gratitude towards the Realm for their generosity. No one was surprised when she chose to join the Immaculate Order after graduation, it was always her houses plan, though some of the members of her house might have been surprised at her genuine devotion to the Order.

Willow Rose is a devout Immaculate Monk who spent a good deal of her time away for the Blessed Isle, mostly in the south near The Lap, before she was called back to The Palace Sublime. Though she enjoys her opportunities to teach she wishes to return to the Threshold soon, feeling that there is more knowledge to be gained in the unfamiliar Threshold than on The Blessed Isle. In her service with The Order she has partaken in several Wyld Hunts, mostly while she was stationed in the south, and is considered very wise for her age and coil. Likely she will soon earn her 3rd Coil in the Order and will be reassigned from The Palace Sublime to a place of her choosing in the near future. Both in her time in The South and on The Blessed Isle Willow Rose has used her natural ability to collect information to gather secrets about anyone or anything that might someday be useful; some of this she passes along to her house as is expected of her. However, the most difficult to discover secrets she keeps to herself for a time when they may serve her purposes.

Willow Rose has come into disagreements with several ranking members of the legions in her time as a Monk, finding their unwavering willingness to follow without thought completely unreasonable. In particular she has a bit of a grudge against the current Headmaster of The House of Bells, who used to command a legion of troops in the south. She is not particularly vindictive towards him, though no doubt he would be against her if the opportunity arose, none the less she took Udo under her wing at The Cloister of Wisdom out of amusement for the distress Udo caused the Headmaster. Since their first meeting Udo and Willow Rose have built a strong mentor-student relationship and Udo often counts on her for counsel and advice. She has been quite helpful in his decision between joining the Order and serving his House, while she does not like the Legions she has not overly discouraged him from it and has advised him to use his time off the Isle to make a more enlightened choice when he returns.
