Talk:The Risen Shadow

From The Whereabouts

Summary

At this point I think doing one overall summary for the storylne, rather than a session by session account will work out for the best. Considering its been a long time since we've even played the storyline and a very long time since we first arrived in Nexus. I'm not going to go into much right now becuase I dont have my notes infront of me, hopefully between my notes and Dan's we can put something together to get a general event log and find out exactly where we left off.

This will be a page for character specific info about where they've been and where they are. I'm making a few nomenclature changes as well. The events so far will be considered a prelude to Heavy Lies the Crown, as will Tony's upcoming storyline. I'm putting the events for the half-chapter or so I storytold under the auspice of a mini-chapter known as "The Risen Shadow". What Tony wants to call his chapter is up to him. At the time of writing this, I'm still in the process of moving pages around, so things may look a bit of a mess today and tomorrow. The summary of "The Risen Shadow" will describe what happened in the sessions I storytold after "The Trials of the Seven Gods Of Fortune", and on the main page for "Heavy Lies the Crown", I intend to complete a summary of everything that has happened so far, including earlier chapters and, when it's done, Tony's chapter preceding this.

For those of you planning on redefining or making new characters, the idea behind Heavy Lies the Crown is that two Deathlords plan to attack the Scavenger Lands simultaneously, but independently. The leaders of the Scavenger Lands have very different opinions on how to handle the situation, and though it's a deadlock when the story begins, the PC characters could easily tip the balance by throwing their weight behind one leader or another. Given the increasingly sandbox-oriented playstyle we've been adopting, I don't plan to get more specific than this outside of defining which leader wants to do what and who they all are. Outside of that, my job is to make the Scavenger Lands as believable and epic as possible. If anyone has suggestions for me (setting wise or ST-ing style wise), I'm more than open to them; I just want everybody to get as much out of RPing as they put in.

Time of Transition

This section will be for items that are still immediatley important to what is going on, so that I know exactly were he left off, where I can go with it, who all is with us, what are their plans. All the general important stuff I might need to make the transition from Dan storytelling to me as smooth as possible, and also so I can make the transition back even better.

Please feel free to enter a few bullet points under your characters, I've tried to set a few examples. Just so I have some idea what is going on with your characters when I start making up the plot.
