Questions for Eve
I know the plan is for Doc to do most of the talking once were in the office, which makes sense. But I'm not going to question my own NPC, so I'll expect you guys to come up with the questions to ask while we're playing. Though Doc can be asking the questions and use his dice pool.
Post any questions you can think to ask before hand:
- Where was the piece stolen? (Was it on campus at a lab, or somewhere else? Perhaps proceed to investigate the crime scene)
- How was it stolen? What did CCTV footage show? (any forced entry, forged credentials? Perhaps someone at MIT&T is in on it, or was paid off.)
- Any unusual behavior from researchers working on this project? Did anyone join or leave the team recently?
- Are there any competing research groups at other universities researching something similar, who could be trying to steal or sabotage your work?
- Who are your counterparts at Manadyne and DIMR? (Points of contact at those places for further follow up)
- What could someone do with this device?
Random thoughts:
- Pretend like you don't know who Dr. Yau is, if his name comes up.
- We should examine Eve's finances, if we can. This might be best for Dmitri. Has she changed residences recently? Bought any nice shiny new cars? Or for that matter, a financial background check on any names she gives us.

- Eve Ballentine (if not directly involved, perhaps an accomplice)
- MIT&T Researchers (anyone working closely with Eve on this project, or her boss)
- Someone at Manadyne
- Someone at DIMR
- Someone closely connected (and likely quite powerful) with any of the above
