Episode XIII: A Break From the Action

From The Whereabouts

Dorian led the group to the outskirts of the city, Dorian and Tiberius rode in the airspeeder along with the unconscious bodies of Coryn and Balon Talonspyre, aka Agent Q. Castor and Faleer followed behind on their airspeeders and all of them pulled into a hanger like garage at a large, mostly empty shipping yard. Once inside, Castor and Faleer quickly realized approximately a dozen of Dorian's friends at beat them to the meeting place and were ready if any additional conflict broke out. Though Tiberius was understandably tense, he acknowledged that they had saved his life and was cooperative, letting the group use the airpeeder to get Coryn to safety. He did insist on keeping Balon for now.

Cell Nine retreated back to their safehouse and rested for the night, the following morning they met with Handler Nine and filled her in on the situation. She suggested they return to Rebel Base, where healing would be faster and they could further discuss their progress. Luckily, Cort Ky-knomi was on planet and available to deliver them to the base. Coryn and Faleer used the bases bacta tanks to heal, with the occasional meeting and Com-Chat inbetween. With Handler Nine up to speed, she arranged for Coryn and Victor Girard to talk so that Coryn could set up a meeting between Victor and The President of the Labor Union, Arus Kale, when they returned to Kuat.

While on base, Handler Nine rewards them for their successes and offers better equipment going forward. The group is given a new ship, better suited to their missions, an Astromech Droid, and a Bacta Tank to take back to their safe house.

Once they return to Kuat, Coryn arranges a meeting with Arus Kale on one of Kuat's commercial, orbital space stations. The group meets with Tiberius and Dorian again, this time to take custody of Balon and perform their own interrogations. Despite Faleer's truth serum, Balon discloses very little information to the group - only confirming that Arus was not involved with The Empire.

On their way to pick up Victor off world, the group drops Balon off at The Rebel Base for further interrogation, and returns to Kuat in time to meet Arus. Aboard the spacestation, they notice that Arus didn't come without his security, but the meeting goes without significant incident. Though reluctant, Victor agrees to help Arus improve relations between the Alderaanian refugees in an effort to eventually allow them to join the union. Afterwards, Coryn and Arus discuss the group's role in previous events, and their intended role going forward. They are confident they have established some level of trust, and a solid working relationship with both Arus and Tiberius - two of the most significant members of the union's leadership.
