  • SOUR: Likes - Backhair, Smoking, Drinking, Silence & Nature, Dislikes - People who disrespect Nature, and Know it Alls, Not sure about Laurielin the Golden - didn't love how she did but does like what she's doing. • HARVESTER: Likes - Alcohol of all varieties, especially sake. The poison secreted from his sword has an intoxicating effect which he has grown mildly addicted to, being immune to the plant based poison it’s physically harmless to him, but his body produces adrenaline to suppress it. When he grows bored or lacks excitement or thrill he uses the poison for a shot of adrenaline. Art, especially paintings though he lacks all skill with a brush. Animals, especially birds, which he often befriends. (Prince of Creation to get 1 dot familiar for session.) Dislikes - Creatures of Darkness, especially the undead. Unnecessary and undisciplined violence. Boring, or repetitive tasks. Cruelty towards animals. Does not like domesticated animal (livestock) and doesn't not typically eat meat. Is a vegetarian other then meat he or Odessa has hunted. Downtime - : Drunken loitering at Vitalis’ dojo’s while searching out something before unseen, believing that most students of swordsmanship rarely improve upon their master’s teachings, a new technique is rare to find. Caretaking for animals, often befriending wild animals when living as a hermit in the mountains. Befriending artists whom he often finds interesting, despite having little in common with.

Question 2: Important Setting Detail

Name one place or setting detail that matters to your character? (Make one up! - These do not need to be intimacy level important.)

  • SIMON - Pre-exaltation listened in The Kings Court, and his Sidereal exaltation allows him to anonymously listen at Court. At Sendai specifically this is relaxing, though in other kingdoms feels more like work. In Sendai this feels therapeutic and nostalgic.
  • VEIL - A coffee shop in Nathir that is in the University District where professors and bright students hang out, where people gather freely and enjoy drinks and discuss big idea.
  • SOUR - A secluded waterfall where he can be alone and scream, poop, and have hard nips. Be feral almost animalistic version of himself. Anyplace in nature.
  • ROMAEL - Market District of Orissa, hustle and bustle of the the city and citizens. Uses it as a measuring stick of his success, if it is hustling and bustling then it is good, if downtrodden then needs to do more.
  • CETUS - Served aboard a ship before he exalted, visits the grave where his shipmates were killed and buried. Reminds him that he is now exalted and can prevent these things in the future. (On Land)
  • MAIDEN - An island near The Land of Nod that is a perfect circle and perfectly flat that Maiden cleansed of a shadowland. (About the size of campus) No one else goes there, his followers may be allowed to go when the reach a level of perfection.
  • HARVESTER: An idyllic mountain dojo on the outskirts of Vitalis city where he occasionally teaches as an adjunct professor of sorts but otherwise loiters about drinking. The closest thing to home he has, as he has no permanent residence, instead alternating between living as a hermit in the mountains and an elaborate, glamorous form of couch surfing.

Question 3: Important Person

Name one person that matters to your character? (Make one up! - These do not need to be intimacy level important.) AND/OR name a way that your character may be connected to another character.

  • SIMON - The current ruler of Sendai is someone who he knows the skeletons in the closet, and holds a certain power over him if he needed to. They have a bond over tea and he generally feels does a good job. - Connected to TK's character through similar Intelligence Networks Contacts
  • VEIL - As a rich person has a number of servants, her ladies maid is both an aide and personal confidant. Late teens - early twenties is likely her only true friend, as a semi-professional/semi-personal relationship. Carriage mate and keeps her company.
  • SOUR - A childhood friend who was part of a different tribe but decided to move into Telperion when Laurelin invited the mountain clans in. Though Sour does not agree they are still friends.
  • MAIDEN - Ramesh who maintains the manse that Maiden is from and performs maintenance and upgrades on Maiden. He has taken an interest in the manse since before Maiden was discovered and awoke Maiden.
  • ROMAEL - Connection to Cetus his brother and partner in war. Both aligned as business partners to help Orissa and personal friends, though the personal friendship is sort of obscured from the public view.
  • CETUS - Connection to Cetus his brother and partner in war. Both aligned as business partners to help Orissa and personal friends, though the personal friendship is sort of obscured from the public view. The bard among his followers is both his friend and companion on his travels.
  • HARVESTER: A Lookshy Talonlord at a Lookshy Redoubt situated between Sendai and Vitalis, this recently established Redoubt after the disaster of Gunzosha Redoubt destruction is smaller than most but is the defacto eastern most Redoubt and closest to Greyfalls. The Talonlord was something of a teen-age fling of Harvester and the two rekindled and on again off again relationship of convenience. Besides their fling like status they are also mutually useful to one another. For Harvester she is a trustworthy and discreet connection back to Lookshy. For the Talonlord a set of ears loyal to Lookshy in the nearby Kingdoms, but also one who can investigate matters that Lookshy might not authorize her to do.

Question 4: Fighting Style

Describe your characters philosophy on fighting and fighting style. (Do they only fight as a last resort, or do they start fight for fun? When they fight do they spare lives or kill without mercy? Are they offensive and aggressive or defensive?)

  • SIMON - A defensive fighter who dodges and back steps into the shadows until the opportune moment to strike. Generally, fights as a last resort and almost views a fight as a failure to predict outcomes. And generally doesn't kill anyone "random" but isn't morally against it. May even simply hire an assassin to avoid getting his hands dirty himself, is it beneficial to kill the person he is fighting?
  • VEIL - For the most part she does not fight. Does carry a hand crossbow just in case of bandits, typically hired guards or living in cities avoids these situations. Fights like someone who isn't comfortable with it. If she's fighting she's forced to, fights like her life is on the line and goes all out. Will go nuclear in round 1 with magic. The only reason to fight is to protection herself from being killed.
  • SOUR - Defensive fighter. Murderous when protecting what he cares for, but merciful otherwise. Would knock out a town guard not kill them in random encounter.
  • MAIDEN - Very tactical and strategic. If someone is deemed chaotic she will destroy them without mercy. Aggressive - diving bird, hunt you from above, no where to hide. Kills without mercy when the target is chaos, doesn't kill in cold blood but if the goal is big enough some collateral damage is acceptable.
  • ROMAEL - Very aggressive on the battlefield, almost pompous. There is a feeling of invincibility. He feels undefeatable. When combat is engaged, though he does not necessarily seek out combat. (Avalanche - doesn't start the fight but is unstoppable force when he is in it.)
  • CETUS - Fights with floating blades, is stealthy, sneaky, scary. Surprise attacks and plays on people's fears. Close combat - working on expanding range. Kills when necessary or deemed guilty or worthy of judgement but spares lives when unnecessary to kill them.
  • HARVESTER: Lookshy trains their soldiers to be ruthlessly efficient and raises all of their citizens as soldiers of the Legion, Harvester is no exception. Combat and combat training have been a part of his life for as long as he can remember. He's not one to back down from a fight, and may occasionally instigate one that could have been avoided. Having been raised in a warrior culture he often believes you cannot know a person until you have seen them fight, but he tries not to instigate combat as a means of reading people as he has found that frowned upon outside of the Seventh Legion. He'd sooner knock a guard out or avoid them entirely, but he'd kill one without hesitation to stop one from raising an alarm. Once combat breaks out he's aggressive but not reckless. His style utilizes athletics and the scenery almost to the point of flamboyance. He often fights hand to hand or with cetus on his fists, utilizing an akido/ju jitsu style grab and throw technique. If he draws his sword, he's fighting seriously and he means to kill his opponent.
