Public Profile

Cathak Chibuike is one of the youngest of Cathak Cainan's many children. Many of the mortal family members that raised Chibuike are either quite advanced in age or already passed away. Chibuike's primary school record reflects decent grades and an average discipline record for a dynast child. Chibuike exalted young and entered the House of Bells. Chibuike's school record from the House reflects that he earned good grades. Written comments state he showed strong leadership and many students looked up to him. His discipline record showed that he got into plenty of trouble, mainly "friendly fights" with boys and "jovial romps" with girls. Chibuike started at the House a few years before his future wife, Sesus Akachi, but even though they both attended the school for many of the same years, Chibuike took little notice of her. Later, when told she was going to be his future wife, Chibuike remembered her as being quiet and better than plain looking.

After graduation, Chibuike spent a number of years in the Threshold "fighting foreign monsters and meeting foreign women." Rumor is that he was successful at both. Eventually his father informed him it was time to settle down and begin his career. Chibuike joined the Cathak legions as was expected of him.

Chibuike's service record tells the tale of an young exalt eager for glory. Superior officers note that he makes an excellent front line leader. He has been known to successfully rally his troops to charge against greater numbers of both undead and beastman barbarians. They note, however, that his presence is less of an advantage in the war room. They state that his strategies are often uninspired and by the book for the sole reason that he can't come up with something better. As he rises in the legions, Chibuike will surely be forced to command in ways other than leading a charge and some of his superiors question if he is ready.

Chibuike was less than thrilled when he heard who his wife would be. He did not put up a fuss with his family however. Their marriage was delayed longer than normal because both of them were so active in the Threshold. After the wedding, Chibuike found that his marriage wasn't so bad because both of them just went back to campaigning and his new wife showed no interest in whether or not Chibuike was participating in extra-marital activities. A few years in Chibuike's wife gave birth to their first child, Aden. Chibuike was generally proud of his son, but did not see him all that often. Chibuike was on the isle preparing for the birth of their second child when Aden exalted at 11. He and his wife both agreed that their marriage brought honor to both of their Houses and were satisfactorily happy with the arrangement.

Chibuike returned to the Threshold and the legions where he spend most of the time Aden prepared for and went through the House of Bells. Chibuike has continued to move up the ranks of the legion and, as of yet, has not confirmed the fears that some of his superiors hold. If his success continues, he may become on of the youngest generals in the Cathak legions.

At the moment, Chibuike is confirmed to be in the Imperial City preparing for his sons graduation from the House of Bells. He will be hosting a gala there partly in honor of his sons success.
