Background

Amilar Iralere is the eldest daughter of current Chumyo Amilar Tsubaki and Hamano Niravfen, a citizen from a minor Gentes. Iralere's father Tsubaki is the eldest son of current Amilar patriarch Vondy and is in line to follow in his fathers footsteps to lead his gens into the future. Having served in The Seventh Legion for his entire life as an officer he is most well known for his renowned victory over the forces of Thorns in realm year 754, though he would not be named Chumyo for 15 more years, he is a legendary tactician and many believe him to be greater even than his father and in turn the founder of the gentes. Hamano Niravfen was born into the minor gentes of Hamano, a house known for its scholars and sorcerers. Niravfen has always been the greatest promise of the gentes as a beautiful young woman she grew to resemble the wife of legendary founder of Lookshy, Chumyo Nefvarin. Her stunning resemblance and beauty began to make people whisper but little else came of it as she chose to become the second wife of Amilar Tsubaki, while her family has grown so has her career as she became the youngest professor at Lookshy's most respected academy of sorcery.

Iralere followed in her mothers footsteps and showed early promise of becoming a great scholar and sorcerer, she attended the same academy her mother had started to teach at. Though some believed that Niravfen had shown favor to get her daughter into the school she quickly disproved this as Iralere started to show the great talents that would eventually build a name for her all on their own. After graduation Iralere joined the renowned sky guard where she quickly rose through the rankings becoming a Sazei before her 30th birthday. Only a few years later Iralere's vessel rarely sees time in the sky leaving her with time to spend in research and repair working daily within the mighty aviary.

Iralere is poised to take over leadership of Gens Amilar from her grand-father, while her father would be a more fitting heir, his duties as Chumyo have kept him relatively distracted from house politics. Iralere has showed a natural talent in leadership within her Gens and most of the members feel she would do an excellent job, as of now she is not deeply involved in politics but remains on the scene while spending most of her time in the aviary. Over the last few years she has started to pick up more political responsibility and with the added attention people have started to pressure her to wed, the buzz has caused an increased number of suitors to come knocking, most of which are turned away relatively quickly though politely.

Personality

Iralere is a very brilliant young woman who has found confidence in her talents and has manifested them into a leadership role. While often slightly reclusive and reserved in person Iralere is a natural leader with strong charisma that has helped in her rise to the top of The Sky Guard. While she prefers not to speak publicly often she has been known to address her Gens and crew in a rather inspiring manner. Her quiet, lead by example method has earned her the respect and loyalty of her crew along with her rank in the military.

Her respect throughout the Seventh-Legion has the attention of many of high society, coming from a noble background has lent a hand to her rise to power, though she prides herself on earning all that has been given to her. Her grand-father has begun to age which is a growing concern for the compassionate Iralere, and has led to the possibility of her inheriting running Gens Amilar sooner rather than later so that her father may continue to effectively run the military. For the time Iralere has humbly declined the unofficial talk about taking over for her grand-father, though most feel it is only a matter of time before she becomes the youngest to ever take over leadership for her Gentes.
