Background

Phaeron Briggs is a Bronze-Faction defector. Formerly, he was charged with overseeing and advising upon matters relating to the House Cathak legions. An expert in tactics employed by the Solar and Lunar generals of the First Age, it was through his training and tactics that many newly arisen Solar warlords met their downfall against the Cathak Legions. After a chance encounter with a powerful Eclipse Caste, Phaeron began to see the impurity and corruption that had polluted the Realm. The Dragon-Bloods had become even worse than the Solars they usurped, having sunken to petty infighting and political squabbling. Looking back upon the passion and strength with which the Solar warlords had battled against him, he realized the time had come for the Solars to again ascend to Creation's throne. Without further delay, he established contact with Ayesha Ura, and set about aiding the Gold Faction in their efforts. A master strategist, Phaeron Briggs is searching for a Solar to groom as Creation's next great general, a pupil with whom to share his vast knowledge of lost First Age tactics.

Personality

(More to come, this is a basic framework mostly for my records.) Briggs believes many martial art forms, particularly those focusing on unarmed combat are an effrontery to the ideal of the warrior. A swordsman through and through, he lives by and through his blade. Given his appearance, few are surprised at his bold demeanor and staunch code of honor. His swagger is largely a front, however -- he is a master historian, and Creation's foremost scholar of the First Age war tactics employed by Solar generals.
