- Raised in a small town in the remote regions of the north.
- Lived a childhood life on the streets, fending mostly for herself.
- Was exiled from her village for excessive theft and larceny during the peak of winter.
- During her solo travels to the next village, she nearly died at the hands of the extreme weather. It's at this point that she exalted, giving her the strength to survive. Found a tomb of a former exalt to live through the winter in. This exalt returned to the manse and tried to win it back through a game of chance, which Severnaya won. She won artifact 5-sided dice.
- Continued life at the next city as a thief, began working her way up from petty theft to serious jobs for serious cash.
Personality
Severnaya has little regard for the well-being of others. Though not completely void of compassion, she accepts hunger, pain, and slavery as facts of life. While she would not enjoy watching innocents suffer or die, she would do little to prevent it -- unless of course, there was something in it for her.
Severnaya is a compulsive gambler. In her years living on the streets, her gambling losses were offset by stealing from others. Her view of the world is one where everyone fends for themselves. In order to reach the upper echelons of, one must accumulate wealth using any possible means. Gambling is, in her opinion, the best bet to reach the top.
She takes the more direct approach to solving problems. She exhibits a forceful and intimidating social strategy. If she can't get (or win) what she wants, her next approach is to simply take it; and she's not shy about saying it.
