Background

Eiji is a solar who hails from the south, mostly spending his time in Gem where he affiliates himself with Gallador though perhaps not to Gallador's liking. Eiji is well known for his ability to cause and get into trouble but his intentions are usually good and he is loyal to the solar's cause. Let one be warned however; his idea of the solar cause normally includes his own gain first. Eiji has been around for a long time and was a close friend of both Eden and Seth. Little is known of what exactly Eiji spends most of his time doing these days, he tends to be a loner and some question if his motivations are noble. Regardless of his motivations Eiji can be a powerful ally if he is convinced there is something in it for him and a deadly adversary if he desires something that you have. Though he has never explained how he came across the box exactly he is the one who delivered the original box to Kevik. It is known that it was Seth who in some way gave him the box with instructions to deliver it to Kevik.

Personality

Eiji is known to rarely take anything seriously even if it concerns his own safety, though he has been known to be slightly protective of the few possessions he holds dear. He seems to think that a divine force looks over him, which of course is at least slightly true, guiding things to fall his way. This uncanny luck has led to an overconfidence in many aspects of his life and he rarely prepares for even the most dire of circumstances, and of course he never seems to worry. He maintains a sense of humor through the most tense and desperate of situations, never losing hope and it has gotten him out of more than his fair share near death situations.

In reality his sense of humor and thick layer confidence often act as a mask to hide any true feelings he doesn't wish to give across, Eiji it an intensely secretive man who has not let anyone grow close to him sense the deaths of Seth and Eden. He views his own life as an abomination of what should have been and has demonstrated on more than one occasion he does not give it much value. Eiji has long sense felt that the odds were stacked against not only him but his kind and that without the support of The Unconquered Sun himself that they were fighting a battle they could not win. He rarely if ever lets these feelings show through but it has led to a habit of working alone whenever he can, of those left alive perhaps only Gallador is aware of the broken state of Eiji's life. In order to avoid unpleasant memories of the past Eiji has thrown himself into keeping consistently busy with relatively meaningless tasks that generally focus on the material objects, and when that is not enough there are always bottles of alcohol and pleasant 'company' for hire to drown out the memories.
