The Court of Jaded Illusion
The Court of Jaded Illusion was a small court of Fair Folk consumed by the ideal of greed, unable to find value in the chaos that was its home it sought out the structure of creation where its corruption could manifest most strongly. The small contingent of Fair Folk began in the eastern forest looking for a suitable location and subject, it stumbled across a small guild caravan being led by the young merchant Dasamrad. The crafty Fae seeped into the caravan unnoticed and took root in the minds of its people. Dasamrad was consumed by the powerful forces of chaos and his mind and body were corrupted to reflect the festering greed and desire for power. He destroyed those who he traveled with in a fit of greed, turning their every being into jade which could only temporarily quench his thirst for more; after some time alone in the forest the Fae continued to rot his mind, eventually leading him to draw the people of Iron Forge from their town, drawing them into a trap. As the greed of Dasamrad grew, the fae which resided in his brain grew in power until it could no longer be contained in a mortal shape, exploding in a release of energy the Fae's power spread from Dasamrad's mind and corrupted all of the surrounding creation. This pocket of creation was sucked into the mind of Dasamard, which was now completely consumed by the Fae within it.
This Wyld pocket fed off the mind of Dasamrad turning him further and further from humanity, consumed by greed he began selling the twisted people of Iron Forge as slaves. The greed was satisfied for a time, but as the supply of villagers from Iron Forge started to run low Dasamrad started searching for a new way to satisfy the greed that had consumed him. Dasamrad's search was not as fruitful as manipulation of Iron Forge had been, and new threats started to arise. Unable to control his own thoughts Dasamrad was left only to wait and to try to protect his domain, he knew if it were destroyed so too would his mind be lost forever. Dasamrad fought the group of exalts who arrived to destroy him knowing that they'd come to destroy his mind, he exhausted all of his power but was eventually overcome. After the death of Dasamrad the Fae that had become his mind sought a new physical form to expel creations champions, as Dasamrads mind collapsed so too did the Wyld pocket, drawing together into the lone figure of the Fae who had started it all by consuming the mind of a helpless guild merchant. After the final member of The Court was destroyed it was forever lost to creation, thoug certainly the higher courts of the raksha have taken notice of this minor courts destruction.
