Background

Adam Orion grew up in the North End of Boston, the son of a middle-class couple who divorced before Adam can remember. He was raised by his mother, along with his younger sister, who lived a normal suburban life in the cultural center of America. Adam attended public school where he stood out both academically and athletically and turned down several other promising opportunities to go to the naval academy. Adam studied physics at the naval academy and graduated with high marks, what impressed his superiors more was how he excelled at every aspect of military training that he was presented with. Upon graduation from the academy he immediately entered service with the Navy Seals where he earned several medals during his time in combat zones and on high risk missions. During Adam's last year with the Seals he served on Seal Team 6, a high distinguished and specialized anti-terrorism unit.

After his service in the navy he decided to continue his education at MIT, where he earned his masters degree in aerospace engineering. While feeling some pressure to return to the navy upon graduation, Adam passed up that opportunity to follow a different dream, to go into space. Hired on by NASA he began the rigorous training necessary to be selected to go into space, Adam found the piloting controls of the space shuttle came to him naturally, and soon enough he was sent on his first mission to space. Adam's second trip to space where he becomes the lone occupant of the International Space Station is where the fun really starts; but that is a story for another time and place.

Personality

Adam is reckless, stubborn, insubordinate, arrogant, and perhaps downright insane. He even earned himself a short stay at the Void Engineers very own insane asylum; his escape, the only in recorded history, proved to them that he was of more use out of it than in it. He cares very little for the establish order of things and almost always prefers to do things his way, luckily for them they tend to work out. His high paced lifestyle rarely ever slows down, when he is not in the field he keeps up a rather exciting nightlife in the local mortal population. He seems to operate under the assumption that he can still maintain a normal lifestyle in the sleeper population, though he never lets his personal life leak into his work.
