Anyone interested could find Fury's beginnings from a number of sources. He was born to a tribal chieftain on a stormy night that his mother would not see the end of. He was raised by a strong, wise father to some day be a strong wise chief himself.  A few years after his mother's death, his father led a raid against a farming village, which was over using a river and running it nearly dry. The river spirit thanked his father by giving him another child, this one a girl.  The two siblings competed endlessly.  Fury could only hold his own against his younger, god-blooded sister because he was a few years older.  Never the less, by the time he was 17 she was truly beginning to surpass his abilities.  Behind closed doors, people began to question who would lead them tribe after Fury's father had passed.  While technically anyone could lead the tribe after a ritual dual, Fury was the strongest true mortal in the tribe and assumed he would take his rightful place after his father.
So Fury ventured forth into the world to find something to make him stronger than his half-blooded sister.  He traveled through town and field, city and forest.  The exact events of the trip are only known to him and Luna, who came to him some time during the journey.  He followed the instructions given to him by his new goddess and made his way to a local Lunar elder.  The elder took him to a meeting of the Silver Pact where he was an instant hit with the Full Moons.  Whatever the events at the trial, they were kept between the elder and the new Changing Moon named Steel Heart's Fury.  He spent the time between his trial and the next Silver Pact meeting learning the basics of Lunar life under his elder mentor.  At the next meeting the Full Moons were disappointed to see his tattoos, and the Changing Moons were wary of this brutal newcomer.  He won both groups over with the nights interactions, however, and gained a bit of a reputation of a middle man between the two castes.
After the gathering, Fury had a feeling he had to return to his tribe.  His mentor told him to release his mortal life and that if he left, he would no longer be his student.  But in his mind, Fury had no choice.  Fury made his trip back by air and did so much faster than any legs could have.  His tribe was not where he had left them though.  Instead, a new tribe had taken their place, and after a little investigation, he discovered they had been beaten and forced to flee the area.  He followed traces of his tribe until he found their remaining members.  A tribe of nearly two hundred was now at around 25, his father was dead, and his sister was the chieftain.
He met with his sister before presenting himself to the tribe.  He explained what had happened to him, and she did the same.  They agreed that she would run the tribe and that he would begin the work of rebuilding and defending it.  The next day, Fury flew down from the sky and turned into his normal self.  The survivors of his tribe were amazed and flocked to him.  He greeted them and claimed he would return the tribe to its former glory.  He told them to give thanks to Lunar and her new champion, himself.  Then he returned to the sky.
Since then he has spent most of his times scouting raiding targets and threats for his tribe.  He often leads them into battle against what would be overwhelming force.  Thanks to his help the tribe is well equipped with the best metal weapons, warm clothes, and the necessary medicines and money to buy food. He has declared that the tribe would not raid farmers or other workers, would not take slaves, and would judge an individual by his own merits.  The tribe subsists mainly by raiding traveling merchants and traders and selling what they don't need to farmers and other locals.  They also hunt and gather when the seasons are right.
As of late, Fury has been pulled away from his daily work with the tribe to help one of its former members, Kit.  Even though Kit never fit in fully, the tribe always stands by their own, and the tribe could always use another ally.
