Nairn
- Angus McCormac - Angus McCormac is the leader of the village. The McCormac family has run Nairn for centuries, but they have true little authority. It would be more accurate to say that they lead a council of elders, who rule by common consent. Angus is an elderly man, well past his prime, that is well liked by almost everyone in the village.
- Calum McCormac - Angus's oldest, Calum, currently runs the McCormac estates. The family control a large herd of cattle and a decent sized farm. In addition, Calum is the best warrior in town and leads the village in defense when it is necessary.
- Corentine McCormac - Angus's second child married a noble from Belfort and moved to the capital a few years ago. She regularly stays in touch with the village and has done much for Nairn.
- Fearghus McCormac - Calum's only child, Fearghus, is a small sickly child.
