'''Haori of the Demon-Born''' - An ornamental robe woven by the Final Sundering Lotus herself from the silken cobwebs that adorn the massive crypts of her masters, The Neverborn. This ornamental piece of clothing is considered one of the finest sets of robes a servant of the Neverborn can wear in the undead courts, when dealing with the Underworld Courts the wearer receives a +1 to Socialize/Presence rolls to make a first impression. ''(I thought of an alternative system for this might to be give the wearer a +1 to effective appearance when dealing with the Underworld Courts - a slightly more powerful effect)'' Furthermore, the Final Sundering Lotus recognizes the need for her Deathknights to be as effective in Creation as they are in the Courts of the Underworld, this is especially true for her newly exalted Deathknight destined to lead her forces in battle. In Creation these robes appear as formal or semi-formal haori-jacket appropriate for nearly any occasion (without a hint of their undead origin) while allowing the wearer to be considered surrounded by the trappings of the dead. While in a shadowland the wearer of the robes may chose between the ornamental robes of the underworld or the formal jacket of Creation.
Should/can our characters begin with some amount of exceptional equipment? --[[User:FyreFly|FyreFly]] 20:39, 8 May 2012 (EDT)

According to Oadenal's Codex, +1 Attribute or +2 to an ability is a level one power. With that in mind, I would say it is a little weak. +1 to Appearance in the Underworld and counts as trappings of the dead in Creation sounds about right to me. You can still pick while in the Shadowland. If you want to keep it closer to the original, you could add a hearthstone slot. (maybe a brooch or something). If you want it a touch more powerful, we could add a commitment cost. --[[User:Macabreengel|Macabreengel]] 19:25, 6 May 2012 (EDT)
