Though they made a considerable effort to shake the trailing cops, Coryn ended up needing to confront all three in the streets of the city while Faleer's shape shifting ability turned out to be effective enough to fool them. Coryn stunned all three with relative ease, which allowed the three members of the group to re-convene after Castor's meeting with Dorian. Faleer and Castor returned to the safehouse that night, but due to needing to pass a checkpoint Coryn found a local to spend the night with. Castor informed the group that in order to gain Dorian's trust and get an inside connection within the union, the group would have to break into The Imperial Factory he once failed to enter and find out exactly what they're doing inside.

Deciding that Cell Nine needed to re-focus on their work on Kuat after the somewhat eventful off-world missions of late; Handler Nine briefs the group about their new long term assignment. Handler Nine describes a major labor union on Kuat who indirectly opposes the labor practices of The Empire, especially as they relate to slave labor and immigrant labor. Unsurpringly this group consists mostly of native Kuat lower, working class with some support from the more wealthy middle class. However, The Rebellion also believes that several unknown members of the Kuat Aristocracy are both financially and politically supporting the group in an attempt to oppose The Empire.

Handler Nine assigns the group to infiltrate themselves into the labor union with long term identities as a method of gathering intelligence in the day to day, replacing Coryns former day job. Cell Nine is to support the unions efforts against The Empire, discover the identities of the Aristocrats who support the union, and work counter-intelligence against The Empire who The Rebels believe already have an agent on the inside.

The group decides to pose as recently laid off workers, and attempt to contact one of the members of the union who is known to have gotten into trouble with The Imperials. Dorian Anders, who was arrested and released for attempting to break into the factory that he was laid off from, was known to frequent the bars around where he works his new job. The group was able to quickly track him down, but found that he wasn't so quick to trust or help them. Eventually Coryn impressed him by bragging about destroying the Imperial Garrison-Factory, but while doing so was over heard by other patrons of the bar. Sensing this conversation needed a more private place, Dorian tried to move it to an isolated street corner, but the local police were already on the group's tail. Coryn and Faleer were unable to shake the cops, which left Castor to attend the meeting with Dorian alone.
