Siren was born as an illegitimate child of an unknown dynastic exalt in the Imperial Capital, her mother was a respected concubine of House Cynis and Siren was born into the same life. She was treated reasonably well and attended primary school as well as receiving instruction in the brothel where her mother worked for some time, somewhat unsurprisingly given her exalted heritage Siren's beauty exceeded even that of her mother's and rather than be put to work in the brothel she was set aside to be a gift to a particularly prestigious Cynis dragon blood at his graduation from The Spiral Academy. Unknown to the entire Scarlet Empire, The Grass Spider's had already assassinated the would-be graduate and Ash had been under extreme disguise impersonating the soon to be graduate for the last several weeks of his studies. The target was actually a heirloom that the graduate's father would only part with by gifting it to his son at his graduation, The Circle with No Name had taken over the planning from there. Ash perfectly executed his impersonation all the way through graduation and accepted the many gifts he was given from House Cynis, including the target of their mission and more importantly to Ash, Siren. The Circle with No Name made a dashing, and hardly subtle, escape from the Blessed Isle with all of House Cynis' lavish gifts in tow. Besides their target, which they were forced to turn over to their client, the Circle split their loot and among other precious items Ash retained Siren; of course Ash was strictly against slavery and offered her the chance to leave with her freedom, instead she stayed aboard The Geronimo.

The Bearer of Crimson Funeral Silk was once the proud captain of her very own pirate vessel on the western seas of Creation, a modest vessel and crew but the freedom and bounty that came with it was hers. That was until her ship crossed paths with a Lintha Pirate ship, she and her crew first ran and later fought, but in reality they never stood a chance of escape or victory. Eventually it was painfully clear that death was the only option, instead Silk made another and offered herself as a bloodoathed slave to the demonic Lintha Pirates. The pirate captain accepted the offer and completed her bloodoath while the remainder of her crew made their escape, however once Silk was bound to the captain the ship turned its sites on her escaping crew, ran down her former ship, and sunk it along with the survivors. As luck, or the fate of a broken oath, would have it Ash and Cello happened to be on mission to execute the very captain of the ship that had enslaved her, they arrived a mere 3 days before their ship would make landfall at Bluehaven. Under the cover of Cello's sorcerous distraction Ash slipped aboard the vessel and into the captain's bedchambers; the captain was killed in short order, but Ash encountered an unexpected guest in Silk. She begged for him to kill her as well, he proposed a solution other than death and has since been a member of The Geronimo's crew. Silk is near constant aboard The Geronimo and is without a doubt the most qualified sailor among the crew (other than Ash and Moon), as a result she rarely leaves the ship as Ash feels comfortable leaving it in the capable hands of Moon and Silk when he is away.

Koza Shige was born into slave life in Great Forks, a majority of her life was spent working a brothel inside the city famous for it's drug and slave trade. As a high end concubine in a city with such business at every corner, almost no aspect of life was shut off to her and her wits and guile allowed her to make a moderately pleasant life out of a rather unfavorable position. One day all of that was pulled away from her however, a wealthy dragon blood from Cherak bought her away from her owner and took her to the northern city where she was ill treated and forced to keep confined to shackles by her owner. Despite her ill treatment she was in fact the favorite slave of Ash's half brother, one of the only surviving members of his former house who Ash occasionally kept tabs on. Though he has never returned to finish off the last of his now destitute house, on his brother's birthday he returned to swap his favorite slave for a leper. Of course that left him with a rather delightful woman on his hands, Koza was not an ordinary concubine and asked to be returned to Great Forks rather than accepting Ash's offer to serve aboard The Geronimo. Ash obliged and ferried her back to her hometown, but during their trip back to Great Forks Koza had a change of heart and asked Ash to let her join his crew. Ash was pleased to accommodate her request; however, Koza is likely the least frequent crew member aboard The Geronimo as she also spends an increasing amount of time assisting in Ash's growing business opportunities in Great Forks and at the [[Waterfall-Pagoda Manse]].

Yusuf Kozlov was born into a small settlement of Dune People in the southern desert, a tremendously difficult life without a doubt, but his people took pride in making the best of the cards that were dealt to them. Yusuf was a promising young lad with a wealth of talent and a knack for surviving even the harshest of environments in the southern desert. One day he was presented a challenge that even he could not overcome, The Delzahn Horde rode upon his settlement after the passing of a sandstorm and he and his fellow tribesmen were quickly overcome by the proficient and deadly nomads. Many of his tribesmen and women were killed in the raid, but many more were enslaved and taken back to Chiaroscuro, Yusuf was considered one of the lucky ones who returned to the city to live his life as a slave. Ash came across Yusuf at a slave auction in Chiaroscuro, prospective buyers were allowed a short time prior to the auction to inspect the slaves, while browsing the selection Ash and Yusef got into a heated argument on where to find the best tobacco in the south. Ash bought Yusuf to prove a point, but instead was proven wrong as Yusef showed Ash a special tobacco plant the Dune people grew in the desert that trumped anything Ash could produce. Ash set Yusuf free and offered him a chance to stay aboard The Geronimo, with no other options and a profound intrigue in the airship Yusuf accepted and has been a member of Ash's crew ever since.

Scarab spent his life in the service of a councilmen in Nexus, while he spent his entire life as a slave he was sent through primary school where he showed remarkable cunning and wits, along with an above average amount of intelligence. Scarab's high marks in school and his street smarts among the other slaves caught the notice of his owners who put him into work as a scribe and courier rather than a laboring slave. From a young age he excelled in this roll and he lived the life of a privileged slave, though he was never more than a possession to his master he was a valuable one. When this particular councilmen fell into debt to Ash, or one of his identities, Ash demanded the prized assistant as a form of repayment. Scarab didn't know any other life than that of a slave assistant, he had no where else to go when Ash offered to drop him wherever he wished, instead opting to join the crew of The Geronimo. Scarab proved to be a welcome assistant to Ash, especially as his business opportunities continued to grow across The Scavenger Lands. Along with Koza he is a relatively uncommon sight aboard The Geronimo, spending more of his time in the cities of the Scavenger Lands or at the Waterfall-Pagoda Manse. |

Crew
Ravenous Moon is one of the People of the Air from Mount Metagalapa, her winged appearance and meager personality made her valuable and her own people exploited her until she was freed from servitude by Lord of the Ashen Cloud. She is now the co-captain of his airship Geronimo and is deeply indebited to him, she now watches over him as protectively as he will allow.
Tick-Tock
The ghost that resides in the clock tower of Stygia is a strange and ancient creature that clings desperately to it's rigid second life. While the ghost has almost no presence in Creation, it has still developed a small ancestor cult that religiously worships him. The woman known only as Tick-Tock was once apart of this cult which was stationed in the then Realm satrap of Thorns, when The Mask of Winters took over the cult was disbanded. They refused to worship him instead of their ancestor and were quickly driven out of town by the Mask's servants. Tick-Tock was still young when it happened, she was sold to a guild merchant so that her parents would have enough silver to escape. She was quickly turned around and sold to a member of The Council in Nexus who appreciated her eclectic beauty and youthful appearance. She was a slave girl in Nexus into her teens when she caught the ever watchful eye of Ash, he was immediately intrigued, and in an attempt to earn her attention he killed the man who had her. The assassination caught the eye of The Grass Spiders and earned Ash a spot among them, he did not forget the muse that inspired him to perform the unique assassination. He still occasionally refers to her as 'Muse' when he is feeling particularly nostalgic. She has always been fascinated by clocks, stemming from her unique childhood, and remained a tinkerer while she was a slave. Her skills with moving parts and items of lore is a very useful skill set aboard Geronimo.
Siren
Siren was born as an illegitimate child of an unknown dynastic exalt in the Imperial Capital, her mother was a respected concubine of House Cynis and Siren was born into the same life. She was treated reasonably well and attended primary school as well as receiving instruction in the brothel where her mother worked for some time, somewhat unsurprisingly given her exalted heritage Siren's beauty exceeded even that of her mother's and rather than be put to work in the brothel she was set aside to be a gift to a particularly prestigious Cynis dragon blood at his graduation from The Spiral Academy.
