Since the Primordials played the Games of Divinity, an ancient willow tree has stood in the East of creation. The exact location of the tree has changed with changing bounderies of creation but has always stood in the depths of a forest. The current location is about a dozen miles to the SE of the range homes. The tree has been at its current location for as long as the Three Elite Fiends can remember.
The tree can not be found from overhead even though it is much larger than the surrounding forest. The only way to find the tree is to look for one of the willow-o-the-wisps in its general vacinity and follow it there. The tree itself is hundreds of feet tall and nearly a hundred feet in diameter. The branches and leaves reach out another 100 feet in all directions and enclose an area about 100 yards across. Carved into the tree are four masks, one facing each of the cardinal directions. In the branches live birds of paradise and golden monkeys. On the ground inside the canopy are peacocks and other colorful animals. The branches of this willow have cup shaped flowers that collect water and nector, and it has fruit and seed enough to feed all of its residents and any visitors.
The tree sits atop a Dragon Line which it draws energy from. Analysis has shown that it puts as much energy back into the line as it draws out, however. Energy readings from the outside suggest that a demanse should stand in the location of the tree, and energy readings from within have proven impossible, unreliable, or just bizzare. The most popular theory at the moment among Grass Spiders is that the tree exists in a pocket realm and that when you pass through the hanging branches, you cross into it.
