Summary: Part 1: The group scried the target with the Loom of Fate and bickered about the type of "destination" it was going to be. The Loom indicated that he was fated to die in about a week, so the three set out to find him and determine if they were to change that fate. After some investigation and conversation, they discovered he had a desire to travel East. The Sidereals decided to "allow" him to tag along with them as they traveled toward Gem. That night, Jato did his best to get himself killed by some Lintha pirates while saving his sister from slavery. Luckily, Arisu and Starfall were watching him. They followed him and helped him save his sister, saving his life. While traveling the Southwestern jungles, the group survived an ambush by some Tree Striders before Jato confided that he had a dream/vision about a golden, four-armed man leading him to a tomb. The Sidereals immediately made the occult connection that Jato was unaware of but played it cool. Jato informed them of a short-cut, that the dream included, and they group decided to take it. The path lead down a cave to a little god's sanctum. After performing a task for the little god, it took them through the sanctum, to the other side of the mountain. As they looked out across the sand sea east of the mountains, they realized that the shortcut easily saved them weeks.
