Coryn had a rough day at the office. Soon after arriving at his desk, he received a tip from a co-worker that security was looking for him. Coryn had already been under investigation by the department's security for unauthorized use of their systems. Coryn's paranoia was justified when he found that Imperial security forces were dispatched to detain him. He was able to leave his desk undetected before Imperial security reached him. He covertly moved about the building evading security forces, mostly hiding in a stairwell. He called for Cell Nine to extract him from the building. Security had already built up around the building with multiple landspeeders, heavy trucks and personnel monitoring all points of entry. Faleer and Castor arrived on speeder bike, Castor providing a distraction while Faleer quickly picked up Coryn. The two speeders split up and a major blaster fight erupted on the streets during the pursuit. Cell Nine managed to escape with minor injuries.

Later, the team departed with their new ship to the Drurish system in search of the abandoned temple that The Asset was rumored to be hiding in. They skillfully evaded Imperial patrols enroute to the surface by jumping in close to the planet. They flew toward the crater that housed the abandoned temple at its center, finding a distress signal from Cell Eight's ship in the process. They chose to land at the crash site despite their Calamari like instinct that it was a trap. The strange alien foliage proved quite an obstacle for landing but Faleer managed to break through the thick hardened roof of the foliage to land near the ship. They found it to be considerably damaged and buried into the earth at a 45 degree angle. While searching the ship, they found no bodies but managed to access the ship's logs which indicated the ship was empty when it crashed. Castor and Coryn found a large crate in the storage compartment, which for some reason they decided to open. Meanwhile, Faleer found that an Imperial probe droid had been watching them and quickly destroyed the probe. Coryn and Castor discovered the circuitry and chemicals of a large explosive in the container. They managed to prop it open so it wouldn't disturb, and possibly trigger, the bomb before fleeing the ship as quick as they could. Only moments after they escaped the hull, it erupted with intensity.
