This page comes from a discussion during which it was decided that Scavenger Lands as a long-term storyline is probably not the group as a whole's top Exalted choice.  If this isn't the case, that's my bad, just mention otherwise.  We came to the conclusion that the ideal setup is one modern or scifi storyline, and one Exalted storyline.  I have about a year before grad school, where I'll probably be out of state, so that does put some sort of limit on how much longer I'll be running games for in-person sessions with this group (My secret hope is that I'll end up working for White Wolf and then I'll just be RPing all the time - I can dream).  With that in mind, I gotta put it out there, I really do want to run a Grass Spiders storyline before I go - it's my favorite part of Exalted, and I really think that it's very well tailored for the antics this group gets itself into.  I understand we've invested a lot in Scavenger Lands, and it may well deserve a suitable conclusion, but that conclusion should come soon - In terms of the whole group, I think Scavenger Lands won't hold interest in the long term.  It may have long term qualities in my head, but those can always be written about.  I should note that although I've put my preferences up, I really just want whatever the group will be the most into.  I put my preferences up so that if everyone feels that way, we still have choices to go off of.  I have absolutely no issue going with majority votes (which is what I plan to do ), but these are mine.
===EX3===

Now that we all understand a little bit more about what sort of games we like, it may be worth re-aligning things before fall - if we decide early, I can get a lot of background work done on whatever we decide to do (e.g. restructuring Scav to end sooner, fleshing out current plans if we decide to stay the course, making Grass Spiders stuff, etc.).
The EX3 Devs sent out a low-res version of the final map, unfortunately it's a little too low-res to see too many details.

It's worth noting that there are aspects of the Scavenger Lands stuff that I intend to carry on for a long time regardless of how quickly Heavy Lies the Crown wraps up - e.g. I still want to write a storyline about Typhon, Arakanian, and the Green Lady.

It really is amazing and I'm pretty glad it's lasted as long as it has and generated so much content. I would say the sitting here and clicking random page has gone from something I enjoy to being a full fledged hobby of mine. Also, this is a little late but did you guys realize that March 25th, 2012 was the 5th anniversary of this site being live?
#Begin Grass Spiders this fall
#Resolve Scavenger Lands this fall, but in a reasonably short time, then begin a shorter Grass Spiders storyline

Eh, some of those statistics are skewed. Just remember that [http://aartedafuga.blogspot.com/2009/06/secessao.html some sites] link to our maps of the world... possibly mistaking them for reality? I really can't tell. [[User:Kirkland|Kirkland]] 05:35, 15 April 2012 (EDT)
