* Hired to kill a powerful Camerilla leader that is attempting to take LA from The Sabbat.
Bob had been working as an independent assassin for quite some time, most of his work for anyone willing to pay his price in the United States. This left him almost completely removed from his clan, who he had never been familiar with thanks to his rather twisted and nontraditional upbringing and siring. By this time the Sabbat has almost entirely called off their hunt for him, and he'd undertaken a number of jobs on their behalf, though they probably didn't realize who exactly they were hiring. The Black Hand hired Bob to eliminate a powerful Camarilla elder who was leading a Camarilla take over of Sabbat controlled LA.

He was still working under the sheriff of the city, though he needed to interact with him very little given his individual expertise at eliminating lone targets. The continued interaction with other vampires also did wonders for his mental derangement, which was slowly becoming less severe.

After a short time, less than a year, the city had been swept of almost all remnants of The Sabbat which left Bob with very little to do within the city. He had performed his job so well that he had eliminated the need for himself, perhaps he could have overtaken the sheriff of the city, but instead Bob suddenly left the service of The Camarilla. Bob disappeared from LA overnight and without a word or warning, once again off on his own with a somewhat alienated Camarilla and now extremely angry Sabbat leaving him without a sect willing to hire him.

Bob returned to Mexico City, a familiar territory where no one would think to look for him. From here he traveled the world and used his finely tuned abilities to make connections around the globe, finally making contact with his own clan. Through Clan Assamite he was able to continue to work and train his skills, meanwhile he was learning a whole new way to receive payment for work. Though he was paid in blood for most of his missions for the clan, he was able to trade them with another Assamite in exchange for a cure to his derangement.

Background

From Russia with Love

Bob A'Par was born in Saint Petersburg, Russia in 1893 the second child of a small revenant family kept secretly by a powerful Tzimisce Archbishop. Before the end he would end up being the only boy of three children, one sister older and another younger all within 3 years of one another. After his youngest sister was born he saw much less of his parents and other strange servants of the house attended to the children's needs. At least partially, the kids were largely on their own and were not given a spoiled life, mostly kept confined in the cellar of the large mansion they lived in. As they grew older they started to receive more and more attention from those around the house, the attention would soon grow into training. They were educated, though only taught what the master had deemed an appropriate curriculum, this training went well beyond the normal education children receive and he was forced through rigorous physical training and combat drills starting at a young age. When he was 12 a strange women named Anastasiya came to live with the children, who were now allowed to have bedrooms in the man part of the mansion, though kept mostly to one wing. She began to inform them on matters of the occult and continued with their training and education, personally overseeing every aspect of it. Bob had always believed that she looked very much like the memories he had of his own mother, though he was certain that she was not. Questions regarding such things were strictly forbidden. Three years later, when Bob was 15 his parents returned to the manor, for Bob this is when the trouble began.

Shortly after his parents returned the master of the manor, several people whom Bob did not recognize, Anastasiya, and his parents met in a private room. The meeting was long and all three children were anxious to see what would come of it, where had their parents been, why did they return now? Anastasiya, who Bob now considered the closest thing he'd had to a real mother, never came out of that room. No one ever spoke of her, he made the mistake of asking only once. After that day rumors began to circulate through the house, rumors that the master was leaving. A week after the meeting he found out officially from his father, their family, along with the master and several other servants would be moving to The United States. The Sabbat there was struggling with the Cammerilla to claim lands it was believed that by sending the more senior members of The Sabbat there they could overpower the young Camerilla upstarts of America. In this The Sabbat was not entirely wrong.

Coming to America

Their arrival to America went without trouble, their travel by boat was long and they stayed below deck for almost the entire trip. Along their journey the children's parents began to explain the entire situation to them, they were vampires and soon the children would be too. The master was a more powerful vampire, and their family had served him for generations, before the children could become vampires their would need to be more children to continue the tradition. They established themselves in Mexico City, compared to their manor in Russia it was small, but the smaller number of servants within-it coupled with the kids new freedom made it seem like a much bigger world. The children began to take a more active role in the business of the household, they began to meet other Sabbat members and help with small dealings around town. They essentially functioned and were treated like ghouls, most visitors assumed they were.

In 1910, Bob was 17, he assisted his father in an assassination in downtown Mexico City, he thought it was odd that it didn't bother him at all, watching a man die. Over the next three years the children's involvement continued to grow, they began taking smaller missions on their own, some assassinations, and some missions slightly more public. They began to travel out of Mexico City, they made trips all along the west coast, and most commonly to Los Angles. By the time Bob was 20 he had killed enough people to impress most mass murders, he'd battled other Vampires as well as other supernatural creatures, besides lacking the thirst for blood he was nearly a vampire. It was then that it was explained to him that in order for their to be another generation in the family, he would need to sire a child with each of his sisters. Deep down, in the side of him that was still human he knew that something was gravely wrong with such an act, but again somehow he found himself not at all repulsed.

A year later his older sister Kelly had just had a daughter, and his younger sister Amber was pregnant with another child. The master of the house had assured him it would be a son, that he had done well in preserving the long line of his family. Late on the night that normal families celebrated the new year Hojo, Bob's father came to him, and told him that it was time. Kelly and Bob were to be turned tonight, Amber would be turned after the child was born. Bob and Kelly welcomed the embrace, they knew that it was coming and they were pleased to finally officially join the ranks of The Sabbat. Hojo sired them both that night, but what Bob thought would be a promising transformation and new power was not all that he had thought it would be. Kelly was even more distraught by the change, she grew increasingly bitter and angry, showing a temper that had never been present before now. She thirsted constantly, even immediately after feeding. On top of that Bob and Kelly were allowed less and less time in Mexico City, forced into North America to do their master's bidding, after a few months had passed they were called to return back to Mexico City. Amber's child had been born, a boy as was predicted, and it was time that Hojo turn Amber as well. However things did not go as planned that night.

L.A.

Things did not go according to his plan, not even close, and he ended up revealing himself as an assassin to the man he'd been sent there to kill due to a mental derangement he'd developed after splitting away from his father and Tzimisce control. Naturally the elder attempted to dispatch Bob, turning Bob's own firearm against him; the elder pumped round after round from the gun into Bob's head until the clip ejected empty. Much to everyone's surprise, Bob survived the ordeal. Caught off guard the Camarilla elder was left in an awkward place, and rather than finish Bob off he decided to press him into service. On threat of death and promise of reward, Bob was paired with a rag tag crew of freshly sired Camarilla vampires to wage war against The Sabbat on the streets of LA.

Bob and his motley of vampires had surprising success on the streets of LA, eventually eliminating the Sabbat Bishop on their own. An impressive feat that would prove to be the final dagger in The Sabbat's control of the influential city. The once Sabbat stronghold had been quickly and expertly overthrown by the Camarilla, and now lay firmly in the Camarilla's grasp leaving The Sabbat in the area crippled and incapable of retaking it.

With Bob's heavy involvement and success int he overthrowing of LA the now Prince of the city was left with little choice but to reward him for his service, though he could have gotten rid of Bob he thought the young powerful Assamite would be most useful alive an serving him. With that though in mind he offered Bob the position of scourge in the city, an incredibly important role for a freshly turned Camarilla city. He was still working under the sheriff of the city, though he needed to interact with him very little given his individual expertise at eliminating lone targets. Bob turned out to be a very skilled scourge, finding that he was more suited for his role with the Camarilla hierarchy than he had been as an independent assassin.
