They were thankful to have survived the attack, but they did not suspect they would survive the remaining trip. By fortune, or perhaps other means, and elder barbarian came to them the morning after the attack, he seemed rather aware and rather calm about the events of the previous day. He explained to them that they had been chosen, and that if they went with him he could guarantee their survival and tell them more about their new condition. The next day the elder informed him that it was his duty as a Silver Pact member to kill Child of the Black Sunrise, as she was a solar and an inherit threat to Creation. Frost was unable to accept this order from the elder, while he respected him he simply could not fathom anything that would bring him to commit such a terrible act. He pleaded and begged with the elder to spare her life, to not make him kill her, he declared that he would not even if it meant his death. Finally, as a last ditch effort to save her life he offered a deal that he knew the elder would not decline; Frost proposed he would owe the elder three debts in exchange for her life. After much thought the elder excepted, feeling that the lunars debt was more valuable than killing the solar but losing a valuable young lunar. The only stipulation set forth was that Child of the Black Sunrise was never to return to the northern territory, Frost had no choice but to accept and he was held down infront of Child of the Black Sunrise while the elder carved the moonsilver debt into three inlaid circles upon Frost's chest.

Background

Adamant Frost Lord was born in the Sunset Greenfield in western portion of Hastlani territory, but his parents never found the home suitable. The large Greenfield was full of people and one of the major trade hubs of the Hastlani League to the city of Gethamane which made it a rather busy town. The large population and productive agriculture of the Greenfield made life difficult on Frost's father who was from a long line of hunters. This hardship eventually forced his family to pick up and move to a much less prosperous area. The family relocated to a small emerald several hundred miles to the east of The Sunset Greenfield. Frost was the oldest of his father's 9 children, though they were born by at least 2 different women, and he spent the majority of his days learning his fathers trade. He scarcely saw either of the women he called mother, but always thought of them fondly for their part in taking care of the other children. As he grew older he started to befriend some of the other children from the other families of the emerald, the limited fertile land limited the small camp to only 5 or 6 families, all of which resembled his own in size. This small community of hunter-gathers and makeshift farmers is the place he grew to call home.

In his early teens Frost became close friends with a slightly younger girl from one of the other families of the community; she was always thought to be a strange child who was fated to be trouble, she was named Child of the Black Sunrise, for her inauspicious birth time. The girl was often outcast from her own family and she had very few other friends, eventually through his fathers acceptance she came to live with his family and was taken care of with Frost's other siblings by his mothers. This adoption caused tension within the community, eventually leading to his families request that he send her away or marry her. Posed with such a life altering decision at an early age he was unable to send her away, and instead they became betrothed, set to marry before he turned 18. The community found the family's loyalty to their sons word strange, and started to think of him as a disrespectful brat who shared the girls cursed fate; however, but his father remained steadfastly loyal to his sons decision. Unfortunately for Frost his home did not last until his 18 birthday.

In Realm Year 764 the emerald started to rapidly deteriorate, leaving the community stranded for the winter. hoping that the emerald would reemerge they stuck out the winter on what supplies that had stockpiled over the summer, however they soon learned that their supplies would be short and that if they didn't move they would stave by spring. Urged by his father the community packed up and started to move across the frozen tundra, headed towards the closest Greenfield, White Ribs, they knew their chances for survival were slim. One by one the weakest of the community started to die off, either by the harsh effects of the weather or eventual starvation. Frost had already buried most of his family in the snow covered lands when a barbarian horde came across the struggling pack of travelers, seeing their opportunity the barbarians attacked. The raid was a massacre, few able bodied men remained and even fewer were capable fighters. Frost fought back to back with his father when only they, and Child of the Black Sunrise remained alive, finally his father fell. Overcome with rage Frost lashed out at the Barbarians, feeling as if he was infused with an uncontrollable primal power. Through his rage he did not notice that the girl who he had fought to protect was also overcome with a blinding power, engulfed in a corona of golden essence Child of the Black Sunrise fought alongside of Frost and they drove off the barbarian horde.

Still left in the middle of the frozen tundra, and now unaware of what was happening to them, they began to bury their fallen family members. Personality

Adamant Frost Lord is by nature a compassionate and protective person, his early days as a mortal taught him the hardships that people face and he has spent his exalted life trying to eliminate those struggles from the creation. Often it seems that Frost is only concerned with the present, always trying to save whoever is suffering directly in front of him, with little or no thought to those he might save by letting one person suffer. He has little stomach for watching an enemy die and even less for allowing an innocent to. Despite his compassion overwhelming his conviction to his cause he is quite dedicated and rarely rests or seeks downtime for himself and he is extremely loyal to those who have earned his trust. He is not always quick to hand out his trust, he has seen even the most righteous of individuals commit atrocious acts so it rarely surprises him when a stranger does the same, not to say it doesn't still upset him.

He is used to spending large quantities of time on his own, and as a result of this he is often quiet in large groups, as the uncommon situation makes him uncomfortable. However at heart he is a people person and enjoys the company of people much more than the solitude of the northern trails. Not much of a leader by natural charisma he is generally likable, if only for his kind-heartedness, and almost always prefers to be direct rather than deceitful. However, this does not mean he does not understand the usefulness and necessity of subtlety.

Goals & Objectives

Intimacies
  • The Fair Folk create chaos that the weak cannot resist, it falls to the Stewards of Creation to protect them.
  • Without the Silver Pact the borders of creation would be overrun, the Silver Pact must protect Creation from external and internal entities that would cause it harm.
  • Karina is my closest friend and ally, together we can bring back the glory days of The First Age.
  • Solar Mate

Frost has watched the innocent people of the north suffer from the natural occurrences of the world for his entire life, he has suffered from them himself. Nothing would please him more than to see the world rid of these horrible dangers that prey on the weak, in order to accomplish that he needs help. In no time was the world so close to this ideal utopia than in the first age, when the Solar Delivertive ruled over all creation and bent creation's laws to suit its people. The solars, and only the solars, are capable of returning the world to this more perfected state. Frost hopes to accomplish exactly that, by reestablishing solar rule he hopes to save the citizens of creation from pain and suffering, and with the proper lunar guidance keep the solars in check. He currently works with another lunar, Karina, to find other exalts in the area and protect them from the forces that would have them killed. Karina can educate them about their powers and the glory of the first age, then Karina and Frost help them set up a more permanent base of power.
